3 Pack - Blue-Schmidt 888 Medium Rollerball Refill

I'm not sure if I have a Lanier Pen, but it's so "Fancy Schmancy" & Beautiful, I am assuming it is Lanier. I received this Pen about or over 15 years ago... back in the early 90's when "Fancy Pens" for the White Collar Worker that carried an "Attache' Case" or had high paying Office Jobs - well these Pens were all the RAGE! I ran out of ink waaaay back then & I never could put in the time to find the right size refill. I wanted a QUALITY REFILL... not a BOX STORE or drug store refill. I almost threw this Pen & my other "Fancy Pen" out so many times over the years. I took a chance on the "Reasonably priced" refill - really not expecting QUALITY. I Not only got Spectacular Quality but excellent performance. There is no 'ink skipping' - no BLEEDING spots - instant perfect solid ink when starting to write. It really is a great refill & very reasonable price for THREE.

Fits my Parker 5th Generation Technology Pen. It does not have the same fountain pen type nib as the Parker refills but it makes the pen useful again. I

I originally had the fine point, but as an upside down lefty, I needed something that would work for me. The ink is bold in color and very smooth, never skips, and I don't have to press down onto the paper like most of your bargain pens. This is very high quality.

It's a good thing that I can type this review rather than use the refills to write it. When I tried the refill, the first 50 or so words were fine, but the refill went downhill quickly. Sometimes it puts out too much ink, but it also starts flowing so poorly that the words written are practically invisible. I bought the refills because I have a favorite pen that uses that type of refill, but the pen worked much better when I originally bought it than when I just got the new refills. When I request a refund or replacement, I won't use this item to ask for the remedy. I might just throw the three refills away.

The folks who run Schmidt have it figured out. Most pen lovers tire easily with the initial cartridge offered with a beautiful pen purchase. The genius of the replaceable cartridge is that after the glory wears off your initial cartridge, the joy will come flooding back in with your new cartridge install at a fraction of what the original cartridge cost. Why do pen Companies forget that nice pens are only as useful as the ink delivery system they endorse or allow? But don't let them interfere with your journaling joy. Get a beautiful pen and then equip yourself with the finest in after market cartridge choices from Companies like Schmidt...and your journaling, thank you card writing days will flourish and blossom till you're old and gray. Just remember, you read it first here.

Was good fit for pen but refills don't last long. Guess not very much ink in them.

Gave this a shot as a refill for Leeds 9092-092F but the tip is shorter. Otherwise looks like a good refill just didn't work as a replacement for the Leeds

These are good economical rollerballs. Writes well. Would recommend.
