Brilliance BPA-Free Food Storage Containers with Lids, Airtight Clear Set of 2 (9.6 Cup), Ideal for Lunch, Meal Prep, and Leftovers

I started off buying sets of this excellent product. I needed a much larger size so that I could empty stew put instead of it taking up so much space in small refrigerator. This item worked perfectly. I like being able to stack these containers in refrigerator. I like even more that the lids are air tight/ fit tightly and then have lock down tabs to prwvent spillage. It is great that tabs pop up and lock to allow steam to escape while heating food in microwave. It is a lazy thing perhaps, but I am glad that these Rubbermaid Brillance containers are dishwasher safe both on top and bottom racks. I don't pur the lids in dishwasher. I prefer to hand-wash them. I also use the largeest size to store non-breakable Christmas ornaments.

These were great! The sizes in the multipack were perfect for our household. They worked so well for leftovers foods and meal prep to freezer to microwave to dishwasher and back again. They take a lot of abuse. They lasted about 2 years for us before cracks start forming in the midsized pieces we use the most. The lids are truly airtight and stay that way for the life of the piece! In fact, the lids would remain tight even when a crack formed down the side of the container - ha! For the price and convenience and two years of heavy duty use, I’d say that is a bargain!

I own other products in this line. They seal well, pretty easy to clean, pretty durable plastic, light weight, this size is easy to stack on top of each other other in frig rather long, not too wide, and tall enough that you can still stack them. I often use them to brine chicken breast before cooking

I love these containers. They are the perfect size for leftovers or heating vegetables. The lid is tight but I like it. No worries of spills. They are easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. I finally cleaned out all of my old containers that were too plastic and not safe for reheating. Also, threw away the multitude of mismatched lids and containers (where did those items go?). These containers are stackable and now my kitchen cupboard looks organized and neat.

Rubbermaid has a good product reputation, and these Brilliance storage containers are no exception. First, even though Rubbermaid states that these containers are dishwasher safe, I never put my plastic items in the dishwasher. What does "dishwasher safe" mean or imply? I personally believe the water temperature in a dishwasher is far too high and will alter the product integrity (e.g., the excessively high water temperatures can, over time, cause the plastic to become brittle, and make it subject to cracking - or - cause the container to warp, or change the integrity of the rubber-like gasket thus changing the the ability these containers to seal as tightly as it should.) Thus, I feel my time is well spent hand-washing these containers. I have not experienced any cracking, warping, or problems sealing these containers. Given that this product actually performed better than expected, my son wanted me to find a similar, yet larger container to store leftover chili. He wanted round containers to hold approximately 8 to 9 cups of liquid. Bingo, Rubbermaid Brilliance has those also. Oh, BTW, I also do not put any pots, pans, or roasters in the dishwasher! My father, a chef, told me to wash them only in a dishwasher if I wanted to shorten the lifespan of my very expensive cookware. I look at handwashing my Rubbermaid Brilliance storage containers with the same thought in mind. A little Dawn liquid dish soap, and these containers function as if they were new. These are excellent food storage containers. And because they are made of clear plastic and come in a variety of sizes, they can be used in the pantry to store baking goods (such as flour and sugar) and dry foods (like rice, cereal, and beans). In fact, I can think of hundreds of uses for these containers, such as sewing and crafts. I also bet men could use them on their workbench (for nuts, bolts, screws, etc.).

Don't bother continuing to look for other options. I reviewed other products for hours before deciding to buy this one. This is the one you're looking for. If you're willing to spend more money, you might as well just get glass. These are kinda small, but great for single meals or ingredient prep. Really does go from freezer to microwave no problem. Gasket is easy to clean. Curry and other heavily spiced foods leave stains on the plastic, but that's such a minor thing, so I don't care. It's obviously not as good as glass, but for the price, plus the ability to microwave with the lid on, this is a great product. I'm actually gonna buy more because I increased my meal prep from 2 meals per day for 5 days to 3 meals a day for 7 days. Thanks to the ability to freeze and microwave these, I can keep meals for longer. Throw some in the freezer, leave 2-3 days' worth in the fridge. They stack nicely. Heck yeah, dude.

I love all the Rubbermaid Brilliance BPA-Free Food Storage containers that I have purchased. They are lightweight and sturdy. They don’t hold odors. They clean easily. I don’t have a dishwasher so I can’t say how well they do in that environment, but they do easily handwash. I would suggest making sure you clean up, around, over, under and through the seals. They have a little area inside the seal where oils or food bits can get stuck. They are very easy to use but sometimes the seal is so strong, it’s a bit hard to open, but you will never smell your food odors in the fridge again. That makes them especially great for foods that are spicy. They do well with hot and cold foods. I have not used them in the freezer yet. I have been using various sizes for over a year and none of them have degraded. I do not use them in the microwave, as I only use tempered glass or Corelle in the microwave. I buy them in bulk when they are on sale. Worth the money.

I LOVE these!!! First of all, they will nest for practical storage, maximizing space. There is great visibility to see what is in each container. They stack well in my fridge, making me feel like a really organized person!! LOL I got rid of all other storage containers except the disposable ones that I send home with family. No way will I send my Rubbermaid with them! They are dishwasher safe on the top rack, without any etching after multiple wash cycles. The seal is incredible, tight on its own when closed, but the clamps on the sides adds to keeping the container closed. There is a variety of sizes and I would not hesitate getting more however this set is large and so far meets my needs. I like the fact that they are all rectangular therefore allowing for better storage in cabinets/drawers/refrigerator. They are lightweight to handle and no glass to chip like some others I have had in the past. They seem like they will be durable and last a long time and with the Rubbermaid name behind them you can trust you have a quality product. Highly recommend!!
