I first purchased a size 8, given my daughter will turn 8 end of Nov. She's tall and skinny. The suit was big, saggy in the back. Amazon was very prompt with the refund, and we did not have to return the suit, which is was very nice of them, since she'll grow into it at some point. We bought a size 7, and it fit her, she looked nice, but after wearing it to class she said it is a tad snug underarm. I hope it'll loosen a bit with wear. It is nicely made and it stays in place. For reference, my kiddo is 4ft tall and 51 lbs.

I needed a one piece swimsuit for my 5 year old daughter’s swim clinic by today so I ordered 3 different sizes to try. She is about 40 lbs, average height, and not skinny build but not hefty either. Usually wearing a size 5, I took reviews suggestions to size up. The size 6 was super short and had a gap where the elastic hits above the waist on the back. Size 7 was HUGE. Size 8 was the perfect length but loose on top under the arms. Not swim team appropriate. Very disappointed. Really wanted a better quality swimsuit so I went with speedo but going to send all these back. If they fit, they seem like they would be good quality.

Muy buen traje de baño lo compré talla 10 para mi hija de 7 años y le queda bien, excelente para sus clases de natación, ya que trae una especie de pegamento para ajustarse en las piernas y mantenerlo en su lugar, recomiendo una talla extra porque viene ajustado.
