These spring rods were a good value and quality. I just needed something for a seasonal use of curtains for my front door to protect my rug from the higher, more westerly setting summer sun. I did not want to put holes in my oak door or woodwork. They were sized appropriately for the measurements I needed and my job at hand. When I adjusted them for the fit of my windows they held well and did not slip. I've had them up for about 6 weeks now and I haven't had to adjust them at all, so they are performing as I had hoped they would. They are lightweight, easy to use and are not even noticeable through my curtains on the natural wood. I would recommend them for an application similar to mine.

Gave it 4 stars due to them being smaller than thought. Not as strong for what I was looking for. It would work fine for light weight jobs..

These little tension rods are so sturdy! I bought one to replace a weak one I had holding cafe curtains on my kitchen window. This tension rod holds very wel with adjustable tension, looks nice (the white disappears against my white framed window, holds more weight than the cheap ones from Walmart, and I appreciate that it comes in many sizes! I have one on my large window, and a tiny window in my kitchen. It’s hard to find one that fit the little windows!

it's a very sturdy curtain rod, even though they're thin and skinny they can hold quite a bit of weight. The metal is strong and not bendable. They grip just about any surface you put them between.

The KXLIFE spring tension rods are functional and work fine for lightweight curtains or cupboard covers. The adjustable size is convenient, and I appreciate the no-drill installation—it’s quick and doesn’t damage surfaces. However, the rods feel a bit flimsy and tend to lose tension over time, especially if you’re using them for anything heavier. They’re okay for small windows or lightweight uses, but they’re not the most durable option. If you need something for heavier curtains, you might want to look elsewhere. For the price, they’re decent, but not amazing.

No ‘tension’ whatsoever in either rod so assuming it’s not just a faulty one I got. They twist to make longer/shorter but have no spring back tension in them so I can’t make them stay in place and take any weight whatsoever.

Bought these to secure items in the cupboards in our RV while traveling. They install easily and securely and are sturdy enough to prevent items from shifting or falling out of the cupboards. A must for RV owners .
