This little dog was a wonderful purchase for my 2 year old daughter! She takes it with her whenever we go on walks. It also keeps her occupied when we go to doctor's appointments and have to be stuck in the waiting room. The paint has not chipped and it still looks like new after months of hard wear and tear! Its peen pulled on the sidewalk, on gravel, dirt, the house and been stepped on many times! I think this is the best pull toy that I've come across. Yes, it's a bit small, but it's perfect for a child. Plus being smaller makes it portable, like in a diaper bag, with no problems. I'd defiantly recommend this toy!

VERY cute and perfect size for a toddler just starting to walk. Rolls easily (and surprised how quickly) and the ears are tacked on loosely so they move about. And of course the tail has that little spring to it. It's made for a younger toddler and Brio quality is excellent as always. When we had visit from baby using walker tied the little dachshund to the front. Baby had a blast on tiled floor! Was amazed at how well the little dachshund maneuvered...no tipping or flipping. The head turns too so kids very amused spinning the dog in circles. Great toy!

Bought this a few months ago for my granddaughter who was into toys she could pull. Everything she had would flip over and bounce along behind, frustrating her. I was intrigued by the low center of gravity for this little guy, and the way his head would turn to follow along. It did not disappoint, very well made, doesn’t tip over all the time, and the pull cord is long enough that he trails happily along behind her rather than hitting her heels. I saw some reviews saying they were disappointed in the smaller size of this toy, but I think it’s the perfect size for a toddlers little hand, and that’s who it’s designed for. My ONLY regret is that I wish I had purchased it a few months earlier, when she was just learning to walk. This little fellow is going to be a staple item to gift to the little ones in my life in the future. I secretly want one for myself... it’s that nice.

The favorite gift of my one-year-old. This is an amazingly well-made toy. It actually pulls, and doesn't topple like so many other pull toys. The way the wheels are positioned makes the tail bob really cutely. The way the head follows the puller makes it more life-like. The texture couldn't be smoother and the paint job is great. Superb quality toy. I'm basically amazed at people rating it badly because of its size. Is bigger really better when the person handling it is a one year old? This is perfectly sized for the age range. She can drag it or carry it quite easily. A RIDICULOUSLY low price of $15 for the quality.You couldn't make such a great toy with two hours of labor plus the cost of materials.

It's a Brio toy...5 stars there! It's a Christmas gift for my 1 yr old grandson, so he hasn't received it yet. But we know he will love it. It is small, like reviews have mentioned, but I like that point. It's for a toddler, incentive to practise and perfect walking skills. And it's stinking cute!! 30 years ago my kids collected Brio trains/tracks, which i passed on to a family member. We Love Love Love Brios. It's a Keeper Toy.

I have also bought the Brio duck and ant pull toys for my grandsons. This one was for the 10 month old. It is smaller than the other two, which is fine. It's very cute, well made as all Brio toys are. I was a little disappointed that it didn't "do" something. The duck pull toy makes a soft clicking noise that the babies love. The ant has an egg that rolls and flips on its back. The dachshund does have a spring tail which is cute. And the wheels are uneven to make the dog wobble up and down a little bit (made to do that.) I guess I just miss the satisfying soft click of the duck. If it did, I would give it the 5 starts.

I did a lot of research before deciding on this toy. The dog itself is so perfect in size perfect for my little 11 months old hand to hold. He loves dogs and when we first rolled it into the room he lite up laughing and smiling with the way it moved and tail. It doesn’t topple over earlier and the string is a good length. It’s light weight and easy to travel with. Honestly best little toy ❤️ I would say the paint does chip easy from the wheels if using outside the house but totally doesn’t matter when your child loves it .

This pull toy is so fun for toddlers and preschoolers. It is the only pull toy we've ever had that doesn't get flipped over... ever! The string is long enough for children to get a good walk going, and never seems to get tangled or knotted up. This doggie has been walked by 5 grandchildren the last few years and it looks good as new. A great purchase!

Ich habe diesen tollen Dackel für meinen 15 Monate alten Neffen gekauft. Die Begeisterung war sehr groß. Unsere 14 Monate alte Tochter und unsere beiden Kinder 5 und 8 Jahre waren ebenfalls sehr angetan. Er sieht sehr süss aus und ist super beweglich, Das heisst der Kopf dreht sich so dass er nicht umkippen kann. Meine Schwägerin die selbst eine echte Dackeldame hat und Dackelfan ist war sofort verliebt in ihn. Das er kleiner ist stimmt aber wir finden die Größe perfekt für die Kleinen. Der Schwanz wackelt süss wenn er gezogen wird. Brio ist eine tolle Firma mit Klasse Spielzeug. Der Preis ist ja auch einfach super. Würde ihn wieder kaufen. Empfehle ihn weiter.
