One Piece 11mm Dovetail Scope Mount AM4L with Stop Pin for High Power Magnum Airgun

very functional and sturdy! Used one on my air rifle and liked it so much I purchased another for my 22! very well built and when its secure it stays in place!

I couldn't get the mounts that came with my Gamo Raptor to hold the scope well or stay in place (rear mount excluded) I saw the Hammers One Piece mount on Amazon and thought it would do a better job. It is sturdy and with the 4" of solid grip, it held in place and held the scope. I was finally able to get the rifle zeroed in and hold. I would recommend this mount.

This scope mount was exactly what I needed for my Gamo Air Rifle. Surprisingly enough, the GAMO Air Rifle has somewhat of a surprising recoil. I had purchased a Simmons Scope and the mounts that came with it would not hold the scope on for more than approx 5-6 shots. The scope would be shaken right off by the recoil of the shot. The GAMO air rifle has a small indentation where the scope mounts to accomodate a small pin from a scope mount that fits into the indentation on the rifle. The mounts that came with the scope were two pieces and did not have a mounting pin. This mount is one piece and has that pin that prevents the mount from sliding out of the rails. AND it has FOUR screws that secure the mount to the rail. I had my scope remounted with this new mount within 15 minutes and ironically my first and second shots after mounting the scope were Right On Target !! No adjustments to the scope were necessary at all. This is a quality product for a surprisingly competitive price.

Because this is a fixed-width mount, several of the scopes I purchased did not have sufficient space to use this mount. I wound up having to go with a longer and more expensive scope that what I had planned to make this work on my pellet gun. You might be better off with SEPERATE mounts rather than a single piece in some cases, otherwise this is a quality product and I'm happy with it.

This is a very solid and well made mount, beefier than the attached rail on the top of my Gamo air rifle, so the mounts are no longer the weakest link. I have no idea how they can make and sell this for the price I paid. The only minor item I found is that the attachment screw hex head size and the stop bolt hex size are slightly different. I used the included wrench for the mounting screws and a different sized wrench for tightening the stop bolt (not included). The included wrench was loose in the stop bolt and I was afraid I might strip it out. Otherwise a great mount and great value!

Nice mount works great. however the screw hole in the rear was not drilled on center and did not ligne up with my crossman. The screw that is supposed to go in the hole on most guns does not fit every gun but can still be used as a set screw to help hold the scope in place. There are other mounts made like this one only they are better. Look around first.

Unfortunately the mounting bolts only catch about 1/4"-5/16" of thread in the base mount and one of the base mounts bolt threads were stripped right out of the box. It may have been a return somebody goofed up before I got it. Luckily I was a machinist for 30 years so fixing it/improving it was easy. I bought 4 new half inch longer 8-32 bolts and tapped each threaded hole much deeper so that a good 3/4" of threads held the base much stronger and tighter with no threat of them stripping or coming loose. And as a bonus the new 8-32 bolts were also stainless so the chance of the allen wrench holes rounding out is much much less.

I've been upgrading my Crosman 1377C, and one of the things I wanted to add is a scope. Out of all the 3/8" dovetail mounts I saw, this one looked to be the best for me. I liked the four clamp bolts instead of three, because of the clamping power, and the clamping force is spread evenly between the two Crosman intermounts that are on the barrel. It holds the scope very securely. This is one rock solid mount. I changed the plastic hand grips and pump handle on my 1377C for nice ones made of walnut from RB Grips. With the walnut furniture and the mounted scope, this has been transformed into a bada$$ looking handgun. Woo hoo!
