The protection is good and we're glad we got this case for our child’s 9th Gen iPad. The stand works well and the whole thing feels durable and like it will protect the iPad from some pretty nasty falls. That said, the included screen protector is the worst. It really is so bad. It’s just a thin bit of clear plastic so stuff is bound to get behind bet it dust or even some how chip or cookie crumbs (kids are capable of amazing things). For this reason, I VERRY carefully removed the clear plastic from the retaining pice and immediately tossed it into the trash. I then installed a ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite VisionGuard+ Screen Protector for Apple iPad 10.2" (B08G3VDH3Z). I actually got it from Zagg’s website (SKU: 200105720) where it’s stated that it has an Anti-microbial treatment in addition to the added benefit of blocking blue light as stated in the amazon listing. So, it’s a good product with a terrible screen protector but that can be resolved. And there’s plenty of more affordable options than the Zagg one I recommend but are still better than the one included. Pros: - Great coverage for the iPad protecting it from unwanted damage - Legs to stand the iPad upright horizontally/landscape - Built-in handle - Built-in connection points for hanging around a setback - Many colors to choose from Cons: - The included screen protector is the worst - No vertical/portrait stand - Strange football design on the back - Because the case is so thick, the buttons and controls can be hard to access Would I recommend this item to a friend? Sure. But I’d recommend they do the same think I did, carefully removed the screen protector plastic and install their own ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite VisionGuard+ Screen Protector for Apple iPad 10.2" (B08G3VDH3Z)

This case has been protecting my daughter’s iPad since 2022 and it is still in excellent shape! The screen protector seems flimsy, but it works! This iPad has been thrown, banged (intentionally and intentionally), and stepped on - no damage whatsoever. The legs are super durable, intact, and still tuck nicely into the case. The handle has not curved at all. The only annoying thing for me is accessing the volume buttons. Not really wide enough for adult fingers, but my daughter’s kid-sized fingers have no problem! The case frame has slightly separated from the attached screen protector in the upper left hand corner from constantly lifting on that side as well as removing and replacing for cleaning, but this has not affected the performance at all. Only considering replacing to try out a new color :)

Perfect case for the kids who constantly drop things. I have bought multiple cases from this brand when upgrading my kids' tablets. I trust this brand with our expensive gadgets. These have saved our iPads so many times. They would be in a million pieces by now without one of these cases protecting them.

Highly recommended, especially for families with autistic children. My child often throws the iPad down the stairs and drops it onto the floor, but this case has protected it exceptionally well. The material is very durable and has kept my child's iPad, which is used for learning, safe from any major damage. Note: I removed the original screen guard and replaced it with a screen protector. I bought this case in July 2024, and it has performed great with no issues until now. After nearly two years of rough handling, there's only minor damage on one corner of the case, so I'm buying the same product again because it has done an excellent job protecting the iPad. Thanks!

I received it today and installed it in a ziffy thanks to the instructions. Quality of material is excellent and light weight. My kid is extremely comfortable and happy with it. Time for delivery was quiet long. But I received it as per promised time schedule. Packaging was good. It protects the ipad from all around and it is a must have for parents with small kids.
