SET Mini Round Card Game

Fun little Set game. It is a mini game... doesn't have all the elements of a normal set game, but good for kids to get them hooked on Set

This is not the full game. It only has three features (color, number and shape) and is missing the texture feature, so the game goes very quickly. The tin was big enough to hold the whole game, so it does not meet our expectations. The idea is clever, though.

This SET game is not just smaller in size but a "light" version of the one I have played. Maybe the product description made this clear and I missed it. This version has fewer cards; the cards do not vary by pattern, only by color, number, and shape. So it will not provide the mental challenge that the original provides. I have been looking for activities to do with my father, whose cognitive abilities are declining, so this version might be perfect for him. It is quite portable (and cute!) So if what you want is the original game, you will be disappointed. But if this lighter game is what you want (or if you are new to SET and might want to work up to the harder version), then I think the purchase is worth it.

Thought this was a cool concept, having cards in a tin. But they are mini cards. Also didn’t think it through, “round” mini cards DO NOT shuffle well. They are probably great for travel. Who knows I made end up liking it. But for now?... buyers remorse. The game Set in itself is a fantastic “thinking” game, great for kids. My smartie kid plays this in their smart classroom. So I bought for a younger kid that could use some thinking games to stimulate his brain. He caught in quick. If they don’t? Keep at it until they do. Helps that brain muscle. :)

SET is a great speed game that's a lot of fun and really challenges the mind. I've been playing SET for awhile with the full version deck (81 cards) but I was really excited when this Mini Round version came out (27 cards). It's the same game I already loved (just condensed), and this version is so much easier to teach friends and family how to play. It includes only the solid cards so it makes spotting the "sets" a little easier. Its the perfect game to play when you have a couple minutes before your food arrives or when your at the airport waiting for your flight. I still love my full game version, but whenever I'm teaching someone new how to play or have limited time or space, this is my go-to game!

We LOVE SET and we gave our game away recently to a student who was enjoying it and so I ordered this one thinking it was a travel version of SET and it is very inferior. I thought it would be the same size as Spot It but it is about a third of that size. SUPER tiny. AND it only has a third of the original cards, which is frustrating because there is totally room in the can for a whole set of cards. It makes the game go really fast (like 2 minutes fast) and is not near as fun. Super sad we bought this instead of the real game.

My daughter saw this game when talking to her counselor at school and fell in love with it. The is the travel version and is great for when on road trips in hotels. My daughter was able to understand the game and even easily teach is how to play.

De verdad que es súper mini, lo creí un poco más grandecito y a parte le faltan cartas contra la versión normal, son puras cartas del diseño sólido supongo incluso para acabar más rápido el juego con esa intension de bolsillo juego súper express...

I think the regular game sells for less. Didn’t realize how small the cards are. Good size for purse or pocket though.
