CeraVe Retinol Serum for Face with Niacinamide & Hyaluronic Acid, 1oz

I've only been using this for a few days, but I think it's safe to say this is great for sensitive skin as I haven't had one bit of irritation from it, which is a first for any type of retinol product. My doctor had me on Retin-A and then Tazorac for acne back in high school and the redness, itching, peeling and flaking were awful, I was afraid to try anything in that family again. I've tried other retinol products over the years, but they always caused irritation right off the bat and this hasn't done that at all. It's also pleasant to use--it's a nice light, lotion/serum like texture that absorbs into the skin very quickly without leaving a residue and doesn't have added fragrance. If you're looking for an effective retinol product that isn't going to cause irritation or the usual unpleasant side effects, this one is for you!

This cream is great for those potential problem areas for wrinkles. It's very smooth and does not have any odor. I use it just a couple of times a week. The price is very reasonable as well.

As someone with very sensitive skin (especially on my face), I am very pleasantly surprised with this product. Every other retinol product I have ever tried has caused pink dots of irritation under and around my eyes. This one has not, so I do believe that this is a gentle formula. I did get scared the first time I used it because I felt a tingling and very mild stinging on my forehead where I'd applied it. So I immediately washed it off in fear, lol. But obviously I tried it again and just trusted the process. I applied it at night and when I got up in the morning, everything was fine! I haven't been using it consistently enough to comment on long-term effectiveness on facial lines (what I'm using it for) yet, but I will be now that several applications has not caused any reactions. I'm very hopeful about the product.

Great cream, dense and smell good. I’m not sure about if it working on my skin or not because I’m using so many other creams but chat gpt recommended me this one. Small amount for the price but it’s ok.

One week of use. I have used this retinol cream in the past but didn’t repurchase it because I wasn’t 100% sure of results. I haven’t used it for probably 8 months and started noticing neck wrinkles (not realizing the correlation). I asked my Derm the best way to avoid these tech neck wrinkles and she recommended cerave retinol specifically (I am avid foaming face wash user), so I bought it again. It’s only been one week or so since I’ve been using it again and I already notice a difference, especially in a relaxed sitting position. Will keep repurchasing :)

I use this product for my daily skin routine and it provides great moisture and hydration to my skin.

I’m not sure if it has really made a difference for forehead lines. It hasn’t caused irritation or breakouts and layers well with other topicals. I found that the pump puts out more product than necessary but if you pump halfway it’s usually a good amount. There isn’t any fragrance but again effectiveness is not clear for me. I do use dermatologist topicals so those might be what keeps my wrinkles at bay more than this serum.

A penas llevo un mes de uso y tengo entendido que este tipo de productos lleva su tiempo para poder ver mejorías. Por ahora puedo comentar que soy de piel sensible y no me ha irritado. Me gusta que se siente ligero y además no tiene aroma. Lo he estado usando solamente por las noches, la primer semana lo usé sólo una noche y a partir de la segunda me animé a usarlo dos noches a la semana alternando con otro serum que es de ácido salicílico. No he tenido problemas, aunque alguna vez he llegado a sentir la cara un poquito sensible (nada preocupante) y esa noche prefiero aplicar solamente mi crema reparadora. También he procurado evitar usarlo si tengo planeado exponerme mucho al sol al día siguiente y todos los días uso protector solar reaplicando cada 3 horas. Hasta el momento no he notado mejorías con este producto en específico, pero como dije, llevo poco tiempo de uso. Actualizaré la reseña si veo cambios. Edición: Van para 11 meses con la misma botellita su uso ha sido gradual por eso ha rendido bastante bien, actualmente lo uso de 3 noches por semana y ya está por acabarse. Ahora con tantos meses de uso sí que puedo asegurar que el producto funciona. Al inicio tenía un poco de miedo porque es el primer retinol que utilizo y soy de piel sensible, pero siento que fue un gran acierto empezar con éste porque ha sido muy noble con mi piel y he visto muy buenos resultados. Aunque alterno el uso de ese serum con otros, siento que en definitiva éste si ha hecho una gran aportación para tener una piel más lisa y con vida, además las manchas que tengo se han disimulado. Pienso que volveré a comprarlo antes de intentar con otro más potente.

Ever since I have been using it, pimples have not returned !! on the rare occasion that it comes up, instead of taking weeks or month to recover from it, it takes a few days to a week to disappear! i can safely eat chocolate without having any breakouts, because the serum helps with cell turnover! A must have!!
