2007 World of Warcraft Molten Core Raid Deck

This is a wonderful item for a WoW CCG Collector to own. Whether you are just collecting the game for the artwork, like myself, or if you have a larger group of friends who all play the WoW CCG that want a change of pace from the normal duel style of play. The product includes everything you need to run the raid, except for the hero decks of course, and includes a treasure pack with powerful items in it that can be added to your own collection or given out as rewards to successful players who defeat the raid.

clearly a reseal and its missing the treasure pack that's supposed to be inside. On the inside its missing the Treasure pack and has some of the Onyxia jumbo cards inside as well those are not even part of this set.

Cards artwork is amazing. Love having these cards and I know I will be able to look at them in the future for a large dose of nostalgia.

It was bday goft for my brother and he loved it, arrived on time

When I first looked at the WoW collectable trading card game, my first thoughts were that it was pretty much WoW themed Magic: the Gathering and it's brief gimmick set Vanguard, if anyone remembers that. While not 100% right, I stand by my 99% correct statement. These Raid decks however, of which Molten Core is the first and thus far only I have purchased, bring something new to the table, if you'll pardon the pun. In Molten Core, you take the role of a series of bosses that other players, playing standard decks, team up to try and beat, simulating such actions from the MMORPG. Please believe me when I say the following: this idea turns what is basically a themed M:tG clone into a wholely more interesting beast. Also, this is hard. If you want to beat all the bosses in this box, you need to have a refined deck and a lot of friends. We tried facing it with two players and got about halfway through. Tried it again with four and went 1 and 1 against it. It's a blast to play as the deck as well, however there is a lot to remember as the Raid player and there is a risk of forgetting something between phases if you are not paying attention. If M:tG had came of with this idea first, I would still be playing that game and not this one.

I got this item and was looking forward to opening it myself. When I opened the package it came in and saw that the item itselft was not sealed. Opened it up to verify the items were there. It was missing the treasure pack and the cards themselves were dented and scratched. Was not impressed.

Really love the style of Raid Deck, really spices up TCG playing for people who are use to this card game.

Upper Deck did a decent enough job with the card game, but they did FANTASTIC when it came to the raiding portion of WoW TCG. These old raid decks are fantastic. This and Onyxia's Lair may very well be some of the most fun you can have. It not only brings back great memories, but it is also a blast. I am sorry that I waited so long to pick it up myself, but it will easily become an alternative on our gaming nights.
