If your getting acquainted with OCC and are questioning this color I can only recommend that you put down your phone or device and don't walk but RUN to get it and add to makeup collection as quickly as possible. There are just not enough words for me to express how amazing this color is. I strongly recommend that you consider getting the Black Metal Dalia to use with this Black Dahlia together. ILOVE ALL OCC so no surprise that this item is absolutely as expected. I am obsessed with their lip tar and all the amazing array of colors you can purchase. Everything from my go to purples, red and oranges to pinks, greens, blues and much more. Some think that the prices are a little much but I say what a deal! For if you know and have ever used any of this product you also know that you only need a small bead sized amount that will wear for hours and hours including with food and drinking. I wouldn't recommend you own a vast array of colors at one time but perhaps have a couple of fav's you cannot go without. This is because due to the item being completely 100% Vegan & Cruelty Free it will most likely go bad and spoil if not used within a somewhat decent amount of time. The more you layer, the closer the color will be to the color you see in the tube. But, because it is a lip tar, it gets pretty messy to apply. I'm not sure if it's the liner that I use, but the product doesn't really stay put that well. I found that after I ate, the product sort of seeped out of the line of my lips and just was everywhere. I had to reapply multiple times throughout the day, and it seemed to get messier and messier. It may just be me, and there are lip tar professionals out there that can do it better than I can, but do still enjoy this product. If you're planning to buy this, make sure to get an effective lip liner and be prepared for the hassle. This isn't necessarily a problem, but this shade is a little difficult to identify. I personally did not like the small lip brush it came with as it was a bit cheap. This product is initially a bit difficult to apply and is not at all long lasting. Also, this shade is supposed to be matte, but it is nowhere near being a matte lip color.
