I had read previous reviews which said the sizes were quite large so I went for a 7 instead of my usual 8 and true enough they fitted so it seems the sizes are about a size bigger than normal. I was very happy with the look and feel of the wellies and the ease with which I could put them on and take them off. the side straps are very good for adjustment. Unfortunately and for reasons I can't explain, I find actually walking in them uncomfortable. After about 5 minutes the outside edges of both my feet ache and I find I literally cannot walk in them for more than 20 minutes. At first I thought it was because they were new, and they are quite heavy, so I persisted for 2 weeks and they still hurt my feet so I bought some gel inserts and still they hurt my feet. I have had them now for about 6 weeks so don't think I can return them so I'll probably advertise them on ebay for about £20 and hope to cut my losses. I am currently back to using my old (cheap) black wellies. I have no idea why these hurt my feet, I don't have a problem with any other footwear. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice boot but order a size smaller *by T***K on 14 September 2017* These arrived safe and sound and within a few days of ordering, boots fit but are slightly on the loose side but nothing that a pair of winter socks will not cure, I won't be jogging in them that's for sure, normal shape for welly boots I feel, and as others have wrote maybe order a size smaller.My biggest surprise was that these were on sale at out local garden centre for £60 quid where we tried them on for size.... so the two pairs that we got we saved £40 always worth checking on Amazon before spending that hard earned cash... :-) ### ⭐ Quality but not the fit. *by A***E on 13 January 2017* While the foot fitted perfectly there was no shape through the ankle. From the ankle opening they seemed to flair straight up/out. This meant that if I waggled my for the boot would come off.
