Very simple to use DAC module.

A stepper motor controller (for a dosage pump) I have here uses an analogue voltage instead of PWM for speed control. This has advantages, e.g. allowing the pump to be controlled experimentally with a pot and without a microcontroller (MCU). To control it from an MCU I needed a 0-5V DAC output, and this module turned out to be nice and small and easy to use via I2C. Example code is easily found online, but I read the MCP4725 data sheet and found it easier to use the "fast mode" supported by the device. I can't think of anything bad to say about this so I guess it's 5 stars!
