Worth it!!!!
I researched true wireless earbuds thoroughly before deciding on which pair to buy. It was between Apple AirPods and these, being they are the most two compared models on the majority of reviews, as techies say these are the two best models out on the market right now. I was surprised to find this certified refurbished pair available on Amazon but excited to potentially be able to save $50 if backed by the manufacturer themselves. I was able to confirm that Amazon is verified resaler of Jabra and that Jabra was responsible for certifying this refurbished pair, they even back them with an 180 day warranty, a full 6 months as compared to the 1 year when buying new. That is a good deal, longer than many other competitors offer on their refurbished products. Tech review companies do recommend buying some electronics refurbished if they meet these types of conditions, so I knew I was buying from a verified, confident and trusted source. Took them out of the package, downloaded it’s corresponding app, updated the firmware and they basically hooked themselves up to my devices, both my iPad and my iPhone, it just couldn’t have been easier. I’ve used them for 24 hours and I can not say one bad thing about their working order, they sound even better than I expected and very easy to navigate their usage and controls. Audio and phone calls equally sound great! The only slight critique I could offer is that they are a bit big for my ears, but that just may be because of my petite stature. They annoy the back end of my ear where the cartilage is, however they fit comfortably in the ear canal themselves. I do believe it’s simply because I just have very small ears, not really a design flaw per say. If I’m sitting still I can’t adjust them to sit more upwards as not to hit that cartilage, to give my ears a bit of a break. But if I get up to walk I must fit them back snuggly in my ears as not to have them fall out. So that does give my ears a chance to rest and alleviate that pressure. It’s something that I am willing to live with as I can not believe how well these work, with no cord whatsoever. I was able to go up to the second floor of my home, in and out of every room, even with a door closed I had absolutely no interference or distortion in the audio. There is a slight lag in video, but again, all true wireless earbuds on the market have that same issue. I was also surpised at how long the battery life is, they aren’t exaggerating when they say 5 hours. I placed them back in their case to charge overnight and have been using them on and off, a few songs and a few phone calls since 9am, it’s now 12:30, and it’s only run the battery down about 15%. I’m really pleasantly surprised and really very pleased with this purchase!!

Excellent Refurbished Product
OK, so they call it "renewed" now. It has long been my opinion, formed after searching thousands of 1-star reviews, that a large majority of bad reviews are caused by user problems rather than problems with the product itself. This goes double for electronics. In keeping with that opinion, that means that a large number of returns are probably not actually for defects. This would mean that most of the renewed products are simply returns that get tested and resold. So, after searching for the right pair of earbuds and returning two pair of the others, I saw and ordered these renewed Jabra buds for nearly fifty bucks off the price of new ones. The ones I returned, $45 Juckbo and $130 Cambridge Audio, worked perfectly. But the sound was what I couldn't take. The treble on both was screechy and even painful. I had been using a pair of $45 "Thor Shocking True Wireless" for over three years. I didn't realize how good the sound was on those until I tried to replace them. I lost one of the buds or I would still be using them. But now to the Jabra. I have been using them for a couple of weeks with no problems. The equalizer in the Jabra app makes all the difference in the world for sound quality. I was able to adjust all aspects of the sound to my liking. Separation is great and the sound has that deep quality that brings out all the instruments. YOU MUST GET A GOOD SEAL WITHIN THE EAR TO GET FULL SOUND! That's one reason I have never liked the silicone tips on earbuds. These were comfortable enough, and sealed well, but I ordered the Comply foam tips specially-made to fit Jabra, and I like those better. And, yes, they fit into the charging case. These buds have operated flawlessly. Pairing was simple the first time and they connect immediately when taken from the case. I have only experienced a very few "dropouts" of the sound and they only last a fraction of a second. All the buttons do what they are supposed to do. I have only used them for music when cycling or working around the house, but I have received one phone call. Though I have no details, the call went smoothly. Of course, I have no idea about long-term reliability, but they seem well-made. Now, on to some little things that I simply don't like or seem strange. First of all, this is a renewed product. What I received was two earbuds, a charging case and cord and three extra tips. Not three pair, three period. It came with the mediums installed on the buds and they included a pair of large and one odd tip. I had to change to the large. But as I said earlier, I was already planning to replace the tips, so this was not a problem for me. There was no instruction manual included. This could have been a problem, but the manual is easy to find on-line, plus you can access it from the app. There are a LOT of functions available on the buds, but it will take some time to learn them all and get proficient pressing the tiny buttons. If you want to use only one bud, as I do when cycling, you can only use the right one. The music plays in mono while listening to only the right, so you don't lose half the sound, but you DO lose the functionality of the left bud. The music continues in mono until you remove the left bud from the case and it gets close enough to the right bud to pair with it. Then it switches to full stereo. That brings me to the case. It's a real bitc* to open! This may be the reason my pair was returned to be renewed. You have to REALLY squeeze the top of the case to unlatch it. But it seems to be getting easier the more I do it. The lights for the buds to indicate charge level, etc. only flash briefly and sometimes I can't tell if they are actually charging, but they always have been charging so far. The top of the case serves to seat the buds firmly against the charging contacts, so you can't just leave the top open. The case is rounded on the bottom, so it's not made to stand up. If you lay it down with the top open, the buds simply roll out. The hear-through feature works and can be adjusted in the app, but I have found that the max-amount of hear-through is the only setting that is enough to matter. But it DOES work! The shape of these buds is sleek, and they don't poke out too far, but this same shape makes them a bit difficult to hold in two fingers. There aren't any flat surfaces for gripping or for just setting one of them down. They tend to roll rather than stand. But again, this is something I will adapt to. So, all-in-all, these are great buds with great sound. Let's face it: If you are listening to streaming music, you're not getting the greatest sound to start with. NO product can make audiophile sound from a 32 kbps internet radio stream. Higher bit-rate streaming services like Napster/Rhapsody are better, but you are still getting an MP3-like stream. But the sound and separation of these buds are as good or better (thanks to the equalizer and the app) as any I have tried, including the horse-collar LG's I used long ago. I have tried here to detail the little things that did not detract from my experience in case they may distract from yours. I really think these would be a good purchase for a large majority of users. Happy Listening!

Wonderful HearThrough, Music quality average
A year ago I purchased a true wireless Tranya Sports Wireless Earbuds. The had a great sound but to hear anyone talking to me required at least one bud be pulled out. Over the weekend, this practice lead to lose the primary bud in Target, leading me to purchase again. I remembered reading about these Jabra buds back then and thinking they really had the features I wanted but I would not pay $169 for them. Then I stumbled on these refurbs for less. I purchased them on Sunday and was told delivery would be Thursday. To my surprise, they arrived Monday morning. During lunch, after downloading the app, I fired them up and started some music. I was really bummed that the sound was very tinny, like a bad AM radio. I installed the firmware upgrade hoping it would make it sound better. I messed with the equalizer in the app but so far, nothing helped to reproduce the bass sounds I got in the Tranya set. After work, I took more time with them and got a pretty decent sound from them but still not as much low end as I would have liked. I turned my attention to the other features, mainly HearThrough. This I found to be great. Out of the bag, they were set up so that a double click of the right ear bud would enable HearThrough though in my environment, I didn't really notice it was on because the music continued to play. I found a setting in the app that would pause music when I entered HearThrough from the app or from the double tap on right bud. Now I was happy. I could communicate with those around me almost as if I did not have the buds in my ear. This sold me on the unit. I found if I pushed the buds a little deeper in my ear bass improved some. Summary: 1. Packaging: plastic bad in envelope. Scared me at first figuring the contents could be easily damaged. I worried for nothing. The recharging case they arrived in is like Fort Knox. Its also about as hard to open. I'm getting the hand of it now. I do miss the magnetic pull of the Tranya set. Pulling the buds out is very easy and worries me slightly that my clumsy nature could lead to a loss. 2. Bluetooth: It paired quickly and easily to my iPhone 3. Chargin the buds or the case seems pretty straightforward 4. Sound quality: pretty average 5. HearThrough: the single greatest thing about these and it works beautifully. I believe I'll be very happy with these and will edit the review if something changes. I gave a four start rating because of the sound quality. Everything else is rock solid and feels dependable.

UPDATE: three months later and they cant hold a charge and the sound quality is garbage.
I bought these in February and LOVED them, used them every day for hours. three months later and they're garbage. They can't hold a charge. I used to be able to have them in my ears for 4-5 hours without needing to charge them and I could initially get 2-3 charges out of the case. Nope. Not anymore. I charge the case and now I get MAYBE an hour of decent sound and the case dies immediately. The sound quality is significantly worse too. For instance, I use brown noise when I'm working and i can't use these anymore because the sound keeps getting distorted and it's distracting. Used to pair these with my phone and computer without a hitch and that no longer works. It takes 3-5 times to pair with any device before it works. They now disconnect without reason or warning all the time. Can I give them zero stars? Total waste. I want my money back! Original title: "if you buy noise canceling tips, they work great. Battery life is insanely long." Original Review: Love that you can customize the sound via the app, the battery life is great and they charge FAST. I would say if the charging case is dead and the earbuds are dead, it would take at max 90 minutes to fully charge both. Sound quality is pretty good (I went from Shure SE215 to these when I got a new iphone without a headphone jack). These are definitely not the same quality as shures but they're the best quality I've had for the price for bluetooth earbuds. Also they definitely aren't the best at noise cancellation but it's improved if you splurge and buy the "misodiko TWS-Pro Earbuds Tips for Jabra Elite" Definitely helped (their sizes run big so I would recommend the multipack for your first buy, I'm usually a medium in earbuds, but the smalls are a much better fit for me)

I absolutely love these ear buds
I don't really have a lot of bad things to say about these earbuds. I would just stress that these are traditional "in-ear" earbuds, so they insert into your ear canal to create a seal which helps block outside noise (as well as any earplug I've ever used), as well as to help them stay put - however because of this, be aware that if you're susceptible to "ear fatigue" that these are no exception. That being said, I've had several ear buds in the past cause a lot of ear pain after a relatively short time, but for me, the smallest rubber caps these came with have been comfortable enough to maintain a good seal and only cause minimal discomfort, even after hours of wear. The battery life is quite good--I've not yet had them die on me, even after a several hour flight, and the case can recharge them pretty quickly a few times before it's light goes red to tell you it's low, which I've only let happen once. The inherent features paired with the features "unlocked" by using the app are awesome. It's not overly complex to be confusing or annoying, I basically setup the EQ once when I first installed it, and never had to mess with it again. The "Hear Through" feature is awesome--though realistically it's only partially useful, in that it allows me to hear outside noises enough to know that someone's talking to me, but since I'm listening to something else, I still can't hear them. But the buds detect when one is no longer in proximity to the other and auto pause your media when you take one out to talk to someone, which is awesome. Until you forget and take the other one out and hold them in your hand, not realizing that the buds are in range of each other and started playing again. BUT, having the Hear Through on is better than being absolutely deaf to the world, regardless. The App has different "profiles", or Moments, as they call them, which is nice, though I wish you could customize them more or create your own, but realistically I've not needed more than the three given, just to have one with Hear Through on and one with Hear Through off -- and since they can be swapped through the notification area on your phone, you don't even have to unlock your phone in order to enable/disable the feature. I received these exactly a month ago today and at first I tried to make an effort to use them as much as possible, now it's just second nature to take them everywhere I go. I've not really had many connection issues--or, many bad ones. The only issues I tend to have are when my phone is in my left pocket (which is where I normally keep it), when doing work and moving around/bending down, a lot. It seems that my body (which isn't a large one, mind you) causes some connection issues, but it's a brief stutter at best. Moving my phone to my right side--even in the back pocket--eliminates this entirely, since the right bud is the "Master". But if I'm just walking around, it's never been an issue. What surprised me the most is when I took them out of their case and they reported that they were Connected, my phone's Bluetooth was off, and then my wife's music started playing--and she was in the back yard! It's definitely not a problem to have your phone across the room - in fact it seems to help some of the random "body meat-related" connection stutters. Overall I simply love these earbuds and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a good truly wireless earbud.

Equalizer seems to not work at all from Sound+ app
I come from an Airpods perspective, been using Apple Airpods since they were first released. Comfort: (I probably differ from the way others evaluate comfort.) Airpods can at first seem very comfortable, but I always have the uncomfortable feeling that they are going to fall out, so walking around like a book is on your head or something is uncomfortable for me. The Jabra units provide a degree of comfort in that they are secure and I have confidence that I could do a cartwheel, and they won’t fall out. To some that may be an "uncomfortable feeling" ... to me, that itself plays into what I call comfortable. But, no, they do not "hurt", I’ve worn them in the office for 3 hours straight - and they don’t “hurt my ears”. The Hear-Though functionality is not perfect, there’s a pretty loud hiss accompanied with the amplification. One can always hear ambient noise if not playing music, but the muffled outside world from the ear-plug effect is good enough such that you do not hear ambient noise during playback. This is great for sitting on the couch to listen to a podcast or youtube while my wife is wanting to watching TV. The TV is not heard during the podcast experience. Pros: They do not fall out, (Apple Airpods fall out easily for me). Connects up to 8 devices - two simutaneously ! These connect/disconnect quickly from Bluetooth settings on devices. Cons: YouTube vids on MacBook Pro suffer 1 second "skips-outs" of sound - but only when 2 devices are simultaneoulsy connected. No skip-outs when only 1 device is connected. But these is no lag, or latency during the playback of YouTube videos ... just these random second-long skip-outs of the Audio. It’s enough to be annoying. Also, I hear: "Divice disconnected ... two devices connected ..." at times. This has nothing to do with the item above, it’s less frequent. Hear-Through works, but you also have amplified static hiss which you would not normally hear. The Sound+ Accompanying App: (1) When I double press on the right ear bud, (hear-through toggle off/on). the app's hear though switch doesnt follow. (Pretty minor issue, but noticed.) (2) The equalizer has no effect at all. None. I’m using iPhone Xs Max, iOS. This is the biggest issue I have with these units. I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling, switching every setting I can find, powering off, disconnecting, rebooting iPhone, uninstalling, repairing ... nothing will get the equalizer to have any effect on output sound. I am wondering if these units are defective. If this were fixed, I’d increase the review to 4 stars. Call quality of sound from my voice to the person I am talking to is very good for earbuds - not as good as AirPods, but good. I will note that during my third call, about 15 mins into the call, I lost audio ... the person I was talking to could hear me speaking - but I had no audio. I had to hang up, and call back. I’m hoping that was a one time fluke. For power-users, Alexa option of voice assistant is awesome: we do not have an echo, but through playing around I allowed Alexa and I’m blown away that I can have Alexa read my kindle library to me with the Amazon Alexa app. The earbuds are recognized as an “Alexa device” (you can do this anyway via the app itself, but it appears that you do not get chapter-start and TOC controls unless playback it sent to “some Alexa device”. ) Lastly, these are the REFRESHED option of purchase from Amazon. Serial numbers of the units are so vastly different that one has an extra digit in it. Monday, I will be reaching out to Jabra, and if the equalizer will work - this review will be increased to 4 stars. And, if the exceptionally loud hiss is reduced for pass through, then 5 stars. Overall, I’m satisfied, but these two things annoy me more than the regular complaints of outdated charge connection type, etc ...

Great for the past 4-5 years
I bought a pair in 2019 and another refurbished pair in 2020 (I misplaced my first pair for many weeks and later found them). I've spent about 3 hours using one of these two pairs since purchasing and I still really enjoy them. The microphone is not great (my cellphone handset always sounds "much better" according to pretty much anyone I'm on the phone with). A poor microphone seems to be the case for most headphones I've used though. I listen almost entirely to podcasts and audiobooks with these. I do enjoy listening to music through them, though the audio quality is (naturally) earbud quality. My 2 favorite things about these earbuds: 1. They have physical buttons instead of the capacitive touch nonsense that all the new earbuds seem to have in 2023. Physical buttons work SO MUCH more better. I'm never frustrated because my tap didn't register. 2. They stay in my ears. I don't think I've ever had one of these earbuds fall out. I've taken this feature for granted for years until I bought fancy new Soundcore earbuds on sale and they fell out multiple times per week due to being too small for my ears I think. I should note that the hinge on one of the cases finally snapped this year after thousands of opens and closes over the past few years. Finding a replacement case was easy. I suspect I'll need one for the other pair within the next year. Buying considerably newer Soundcore earbuds that are better rated than these Jabra ones but are a lesser product has prompted me to write a rating for these earbuds that I will no longer take for granted. I'm hoping these last me another 5 years. Hopefully by then the fancy new earbuds will be using buttons again (or the capacitive tech will be much better).

Passable Sound, terrible ergonomics.
I have SE846s, so understandably sound quality is mediocre from where I’m coming from. It’s not nuanced and feels “bulky”, not detailed at all. However, if I give up the hope of masterful instrument separation for a second, this 119$ earphones ( refurb) are pretty decent sounding. Emphasis is here on price/ performance ratio. So, 3 stars for that. Now, turning attention to functionality: it may be jampacked with useful and gimmicky functions, but it failed me where I needed it most: sound isolation. 1 star for that. You see, one doesn’t buy these earphones for audiophile experience. Jabra is not an audiophile company. It produces bluetooth buds. You buy Elite 65t for gym sessions. But one “wrong” move of your head and the earphones shift, letting gym noise in. Jump a little, and it seals itself in for a while. Absolutely horrifying experience. Plus, manual adjustments don’t work. More you try to adjust the buds, more punishment you will get: try to insert them deeper, or moving around and the earbuds WILL HURT your ears. Many have written about this. I agree. The reason for this is that it has a terrible design flaw: the rubber eartip is so thin that the sharp plastic tip of the earbud will scratch your skin/eardrums. And because it leaks external noise in, you will feel compelled to readjust it a lot. And it won’t be a painless experience, trust me. Before buying, ask this to yourself: what use does a fitness earbuds have if you can’t run and exercise with them comfortably? If you want to enjoy music, and are on a budget, why not buy any cheaper Shure earbuds? Sound will be much much better. They even have a semi - wireless, affordable bluetooth models out now. If you are the type that hates the obligatory, tasteless and loud gym music, and was hoping to isolate external noise, perhaps try your luck next year when, and if, Jabra releases updated model? Unfortunately, I am not aware of any other competition that would be any better, and would not break bank at the same time. Nice attempt Jabra, but you’re not quite there yet with these. Additional observations: Battery life is excellent. Charges quickly. Connectivity is brilliant. Never dropped a sound ( use it with Iphone X). Microphones suck. No-one could understand me speak through these. Do not ever attach it to a second device. Despite marketing claims, it will take convulted amount of steps to get it to work back on the original phone/device.

Great value, quirky budget earbuds
Great sounds quality and stupid fast shipping, I was shocked how fast it showed up! Onto the bad, the left earbud doesn’t work on its own it uses the right one as a controller. Also, the left earbud will not work unless it’s put inside your ear canal as it has sensors. As for the case, I wished it had magnets like all the other manufacturers instead of just coming out For $50 this is a great pair of headphones, I don’t think any manufacturer can beat this. Future buyers, check for firmware updates as soon as you get them as they can make a huge difference in sounds quality

Not worth the money
Battery life isn't as advertised. Advertised features don't work or only partially work. Sound quality is good. Talk though doesn't work. All the Alexa features don't work. You can't use Alexa for making phone calls. App links are broken. Customer service does not answer their phones. Id consider another brand.
