Useful if you want to fast charge large battery packs
Received brand new product. Its date stamp tells it is made in March of 2023. I mainly bought it to fast charge my 5Ah battery pack if I require to charge it quickly. However, it is better we use a normal charger for regular use to extend battery life. I already have DCB107 which came with Dewalt cordless drill. You can see that DCB118 is around twice the size of DBC107. DCB118 is a 8A charger while DCB107 is of 1.25A.

Does the work as intended
Unlike some of the reviews stated as made in PRC I recieved a product made in Vietnam..

Unreliable!
The product lasted exactly 4 months before it stopped working. Not sure what the problem is. The same charger 110v that I had picked up through a friend and have been using with a step up transformer is still running well. The only reason I purchased this was to get rid of the transformer.
