How To Play Keyboard: A Complete Guide for Absolute Beginners

This book is an excellent starting point for anyone who has no experience in reading or understanding music. It really starts at the basics, explaining the letters that correspond to the music keys, which key creates which note(s), the values of notes, how to read the notes when getting ready to practice or play a simple tune, etc. Very easy book for a beginner to understand most of the basics of music theory so you can learn how to play a keyboard.

Very good condition. Just what I needed

It's hard to shop for books that teaches you something without seeing it physically because chances are it will dissappoint you. That is my case with this book. I was shopping for a "complete" book that teaches you keyboard or piano from zero to a decent level that you can learn by continueing practising on your own. This book is a series of books, level 1. I wanted a Complete Guide for Absolute Beginners, but I have to pay more for the next levels... I rather pay one price for a book that covers all levels in one volume. The book as is is well written, well organised, easy to read and follow, a little expensive to be a series of levels and that is part of my dissappoiment: Not a complete guide and pricy, A better tittle would be "A level 1 Series for Beginners" Thanks!

Pretty good beginner book for keyboards.

This is a basic do it yourself, learn to understand and how to play piano basic key functions. Features very elmentary procedures. Amicably the equivalent of learning how to crawl before you stand up information. BUT, that is how you begin to assimilate understanding and then going to next learning step. Especially helpful if you prefer to or are more comfortable learning on your own. Lessons include information about individual music keys as one note and is then illustrated with other music notes and offers easy to play early childhood songs eg: Mary Had A Little Lamb. I would definitely recommend buying this basic guide before purchasing any other of the multitude of online courses, books etc. If contemporary piano instruction. For $20 you can determine in under 30 minutes if this is something you really want to pursue. Playing the piano well requires aptitude, discipline, patience , routine and commitment. If you have never sat down with a piano before this at least lets you know if it is your cup of tea!

Honestly speaking the cost is too high and content is less using this u can play only selected songs
