How does one attach corner tabs to cover's corners?** A: I don't know how these work w/o sewing fabric ties on both comforter and duvet. I found the perfect answer for any duvet and it holds comforter in place w/o slipping, tearing, shifting or sewing! I found these clear hard plastic circles (doubles-one snaps inside the other ) to hold corners in place w/o any problems. I first used them 4 a med. weight comforter (not this one) and an antique lace duvet. Held beautifully and invisibly w/no damages. With the corner tabs, you just put the larger circle on the top of tab and the smaller circle on the outside bottom of the duvet cover and snap together.Voila! I can't recall the name but Bed,Bath & Beyond has a four-pack for about $10-$12.Just tell them what you are looking for and that you need clear plastic comforter/duvet cover corner holders. They also last forever and are easy to remove for cleaning or changing styles. **Q: Should this be washed befoure using it?** A: Yes! Always wash your bedding before use. Your comforter could have been sitting in a warehouse for a year before it gets to you. Or it could be coming from overseas on a ship. There might be bedbugs, mites, dust & dirt on the bedding. So it's always best to wash your bedding before you place it on your bed. Read the tag for care instructions. In my experience comforters hold up best when washed in cold water. On the Delicate cycle or Bedding cycle with light detergent. Fabric Softener is okay to use on certain fabrics. If you do decide to use Fabric Softener, use a little bit. Too much Softener can stain your comforter & ruin the fabric. I always fold up the comforter before I place it in the dryer. That way the comforter doesn't snag on anything & stretch or rip. Dry it on the low heat setting. It might take longer to dry. But too high of heat and your comforter might melt, depending on the fabric. **Q: Does this sleep hot ?? Is it heavy ??** A: It is October in Maryland - 62 degrees in the bedroom. My husband and I are small, so size has nothing to do with it. This blanket sleeps hot, period. I had to throw it off multiple times, freeze, put it back on and throw it back off - all night. Purchased again! *by A***R on February 11, 2023* Update on laundering: I now own three Linenspa comforters and I took two of them to the Laundromat. I washed one in the best comforter machine they had at $8.50. I washed it as detailed below. As I watched it barely moved. This was an amazing machine. Delicate means delicate! It came out perfectly. Like new. Follow the manufacturers instructions. Unfortunately I washed the second comforter in a newer machine next to the $8.50 machine. It was $7.00 and had all the same settings but my second comforter was thrashing around in there for the entire 40 minutes…even on the delicate-cold setting. It is certainly clean but slightly lumpy. I should have used the best machine. The standard huge dryers worked fine on low heat. I suggest that you open up the Queen or king once or twice so that it dries inside. So it’s been a year and I had to reorder this cloud soft warm soft comforter again for a Christmas treat. So no reason other than I had to have another one…As I had hoped, the previous purchased comforter and reviewed below (2/22) is holding up beautifully and I plan to wash it soon in the $8 comforter machine at the laundromat…that machine is huge, has no agitator, and is especially for large items like this. Wash on “delicate-cold water”. Their dryers are huge and they all have cool delicate settings. I use Method Free and Clear laundry detergent. The new comforter is lovely but quite a bit thinner than my original one. I notice that many reviewers complained that the comforters are too thick and too warm. Not for me. I am hoping that Linenspa offers a thick comforter like my original one to those folks in frigid climates and also to older folk who are just plain cold or to people who cannot afford to turn on the heat at night. My house temp at night is often 55. No heat. And the last two summers have been unseasonably frigid in CA. Other than that one “suggestion” as you can see in my photo, the new comforter is on top and quite lovely with beautiful workmanship …though wrinkled….with my fluffy one is under it. Old review continues here I have been looking for a new comforter for my bed for someone time now. It occurred to me that I owned a very nice microfiber comforter in my guestroom. It was made by linenspa. I looked at Amazon and they had the same comforter! I ordered the white and gray striped queen size for my bed. It arrived vacuum packed. I open the bag and threw it on the bed and that’s what you see in the pictures: no wrinkles whatsoever, fluffy soft and flawless & reversible. I might buy one more. I might buy two more, this is an amazing product. The manufacturer suggests washing it once every three years… well the one in my guest room hasn’t been washed in three years and it’s immaculate. I’ve been showing this picture to my friends and they’ve been guessing $300 and when I say no $39, they immediately order it Comes in several reversible colors with finished edges. I would never put a duvet over this. It’s stunning as is! It’s quite warm, but not too warm for our frigid 37° evenings with no heat on in my house I might even need a 2nd one, which is a great excuse to order another one.
