That being said, it's not like this is a unicorn of a health food, and so within the context of a diet becomes a valuable tool in the tool box addressing issues like satiety and hunger etc. Once again though, some people will find the sugar alcohol's actually act like sugar and may spike hunger. A few years ago when I purchased these they always made it to my door in perfect condition. There were some reviews of people getting old bars or melting bars or damaged bars, however my shipment came with a styrofoam cooler/insulator thing with what looked like a bag of ice. The bag of ice was melted and I sort of wonder how much it actually helped as it took a couple days, and I imagine something like dry ice would be better probably? It would last longer and I assume less possibility for moisture? I don't really know, but I thought it was a very nice and thoughtful touch that they are going to that extent to ensure their product arrives in good shape. It's not too sweet and it boosts my energy level. ### ⭐ No One Will Take Responsibility *by S***T on August 18, 2024* It's become a little difficult to find these at an acceptable price, so when I found these and ordered them the first time, they came with a big ice pack and the bars were in great condition. So, when I ran out, I ordered them a second time expecting the same result. I don't know what happened. I'm wondering if they packed them on a Friday and they sat on the loading dock until Monday or what, but when they arrived, the ice pack was fully melted and quite warm, had sprung a leak, while the box of bars had an open end letting in the goo. I started to clean the bars up, but they were squishy, so I put them in the fridge. Even after I cleaned them, and even with the info saying the ice pack was non-toxic, I never had the courage to eat them. I reached out to the email address for World Pantry, as indicated if I had a product issue, and all they said was they forwarded it to the right people. After no follow-up, I tried again, and then a third time. I finally got a response from from Think! who said I had to reach out to World Pantry, and World Pantry said I had to reach out to Think! No one cared one iota that they sent a fully damaged and inedible product. While these are good bars, with high quality protein, you can't order them online and have anyone take responsibility for poorly planned shipping, and they are WAY overpriced in stores.
