RCA (RS3698BL 100W CD Stereo Audio Shelf System with Bluetooth Receiver and Wireless Technology - Illuminated LED Speakers, Digital FM Tuner, USB Charging Port

I bought this for our patio shelf for music when we are in the back yard... For $99.00 I wasn't expecting to much, I bought a Sony last year for the same purpose, it was probably the worst sounding CD/radio I have ever heard in my life... Metallic, piercing, zero base, cheap sound like a siren.. After one month, my wife threw it in the trash.... This RCA has exceptional sound quality for the money....(I'm truly, very impressed here). We have a covered patio, so I hooked it up on our patio shelf yesterday, put in a CD and then went out onto our yard patio about 20 feet away and listened.... Unreal, sounded so very good and clear and full, worth every dime.... In my opinion, it is a perfect high at medium quality sound.... I'm a guy who used to blow it out in the 70's rock n rollin', so i'm no deep muffled thumping base lover... I like a solid unified full sound... I have no real way to explain it other than this: Very clear sound at elevated volume.. Good feeling punchy base and clear treble "not piercing".... a perfect blend... Every bit of a good listening stereo... not like it has no base, and coming out of a tin can, and not like a muffled mess with no treble like you hear coming out of some cars on the road... You will not be disappointed at all.... the worst part is, its made of a cheap super light weight plastic.... CD tray wants to stick at times, comes with no FM antenna, other than a wire sticking out of the back, and at first attempt, the radio perception seems quite poor... not worried though the CD's sound is very good and am ordering an FM antenna today.... I do hope that this helps you in choosing.. anything changes... I will update... happy summer yall..! UPDATE: Worst radio reception I have ever heard... I've tried to correct it with a long wire antenna, to no avail, but I remain convinced that it can somehow be remedied...

Got this stereo for my 13 year old daughters birthday....she absolutely loves it, she can’t stop smiling! The sound is awesome, very clear even at very loud volume. The color changing speakers are so cool. The unit was packaged well, no damage was noted. Would highly recommend this stereo, great value for the money!

Not a bad little stereo. Using it in my garage just to have tunes while I’m working on my bikes. Also when people come over to hangout in the garage. Someone looking for top of the line sound may want to choose a better top of the line stereo.

Stereo plays great however the remote worked once replaced batteries it still does not work

I got this a few days ago, for my garage. The pros are great, but the cons are really a pain. PROs - The sound is great. - The remote control works well, though is missing some features - The reception is wonderful. I wrapped it around a pipe in the garage and get great FM. CONS - the speaker power/sound wires are way too short, about 2’ and combined into a type of a 6-wire harness. (These are not normal speaker wires.). I will have to put something together to put the speakers where I want them... about 8’ away from the main unit. - The memory for the channels is volatile.... unplug it and the channels need to be reprogrammed. That just does not work.

Good little working stereo, bought it for my husband who is a mechanic. It’s pretty loud for a 4 bay shop. I can hear it all the way in our office. My husband loves that it’s Bluetooth.

I can say this is the first time I have been angry about buying an item off Amazon. My husband was so excited to finally get this after a month of waiting for it. He pulled it out and turned on the radio and it worked good and the sound was great. But once he went to go test the CD player part of it and put the CD in the tray would not close all the way and the CD wasn't even spinning he tried to open the tray to get the CD out with the remote but the remote stopped working to and he couldn't he even turn the thing off at all so he had to unplug it. This was all within the first 20 minutes of unboxing it! My husband was so disappointed. Sound systems just are not made the way they used to be that's forsure. I do not recommend to buy this as it will be a complete waste of money I would actually give no stars if I could and I really wish Amazon had the no star option.

Buy this mini component for my wife as a gift. She really liked her gift and as soon as she arrived she put it to work with her favorite CD music. It is very simple and has good sound. I recommend it to those who are looking for something simple.
