My 12 year old daughter bought this tabletop easel for my her friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be the ideal gift for her! She’s very artistic, so my daughter really wanted to get something she would use often, that she didn't already have. The easel is sturdy, easy to set up, and just the right size. It feels well‑made and lightweight enough for her to move around on her own. It was such fun gift, that she will be using for a long time!

Bought this as a gift for a niece. She absolutely loved it! It’s perfect since it’s an easel in itself and at the same time she can carry her paints and tools in one place. She’s about 11 years old. But I think it’s perfect for any age honestly.

I do like the item but the piece of wood that props up the back is too short to hold the back totally upright so you have this angle that not everyone will like, it needs to be longer so that one can choose what angle they want. It is for my 10 year old Grandson for Christmas so I am going to keep it but will have to have something added to the back to make it more adjustable.
