I bought these one evening when I was craving something sweet. When I had my first taste I was a little disappointed because I didn’t think that they tasted much like maple syrup. I didn’t give up on them however because I had a 2.2 pound bag that I didn’t want to waste, nor did I want to return them. It’s not that they tasted “bad,” it’s that the flavor wasn’t as strong of a maple flavor as I anticipated. Well, as you can tell by my 5 star rating, I grew to like the taste. To summarize, these are a delicious individually wrapped sweet hard candy the shape of a maple leaf and the color of clear brown pancake syrup. They have nice smooth rounded edges and the overall texture is smooth as well. These little candies are just the perfect size to fit comfortably in your mouth. The most important part ie. the flavor, I find unique. If you are expecting a strong maple syrup flavor you should know that my opinion is that they only have a mild maple flavor. Otherwise they have a flavor of their own. But despite lthe candies being only of a mild maple flavor, they are quite delicious and I recommend them. That is, if you’re looking for a hard candy that has a unique flavor. One warning however, they can become addicting, but I’m not complaining. Enjoy!

I got hooked on maple flavored hard candy when I purchased it on a trip to Victoria, BC, Canada. I quickly ran out of it and was looking for an online source to purchase them. I found these on Amazon. Although the barnd is not the same as the one I originally purchased, the taste, look & feel is identical. I love these! I am so glad I found a way to buy the maple hard candy and it'll tide me over till my next trip to Canada. They are individually wrapped, Maple leaf shaped, maple flavored [contain maple syrup] hard candy. 45 calories for 2. 100% sugar - but help tide me over when stressed or when hunger strikes in-between meals and I have an urge to binge on junk food.

Sign me up for anything maple syrup flavored. But these are made with actual maple syrup, not junk meant to taste like maple syrup. Yum! They are great if you have hypoglycemia, because they're made with glucose, which is fast-acting sugar. Your body doesn't need to convert anything. I bet dropping one of these in your morning coffee would be delicious and just the right amount of sweetness.

I discovered these at a little gas station in northern New Hampshire. I realized afterwards by the way they were packaged that they're a mass-produced item and not something made locally, so I was happy to find this giant bag on Amazon. If you love maple syrup, then you'll definitely like these. They're basically a little hard blob of maple syrup that slowly melts. They last probably 20 minutes each. I like them just as sugar/candy, but they would be good for a sore or dry throat as well. This bag is massive- there's probably at least 100 in a bag, so it will last quite a long time.

I can't thank you enough for this. I have enough to last a lifetime because I accidentally ordered 2 when I thought I ordered 1. I will be giving some away as 4# is alot

Love the flavor of these.And you get a lot for your money. I personally share them at work, and everybody loves it. I buy a bag once a month. It feels like a burst of vermont in your mouth.
