Poor quality not usable NOT WHAT I ORDERED MISSING PARTS AND MOUNTING HOLES FOR PVS18 are NOT even. This is COMPLETELY WORTHLESS. I AM SO ANGRY.

You get what you paid for
Be careful when buying it fits loose on the helmet but fill the shroud with some paper or something and it will fit fine. Also when putting on your J note the piece to attach it is on backwards. If you own a 2x24 sight mark this is fine since the NVG was built backwards any how. All others is going to take some elbow grease to correct it your self. You get what you paid for

It's a little hard for me to judge this device solely on it's own merits. It is meant to mount on a helmet and than it needs a J arm adapter to hold a monocular NVD. So there are several different connections going on for the whole thing to work. If the helmet connection has any play in it or the J arm has any play, it will reflect badly on the armature. This armature seems to me to be well made and sturdy enough. I would be happier if I was sure all the connections were rock hard tight. Since it is designed to be moved that isn't going to happen. I'm not disappointed with my purchase so far. I hope it .will take me some time to decide how much or how little I like MY set up. Of course I am hoping if my set up works this part will not cause me any problems.

works very well
keep in mind this is digital, not optical like the other very highly priced nv optics, but it does a fantastic job for what it is. also, fyi, it starts at 3x zoom, fixed, but has adjustment to focus. overall, it does its job but just have to get used to these items.

You get what you pay for, which is not much...
While I did not expect much from this product, especially at this price point, there were just too many little things that add up to one overall frustrating experience. If you were going to attach a model device or inexpensive NVG (gen 1 maybe?) This is fine. I would not suggest it for anything more than a toy as the tolerances are off, the mounting plate required a shim to properly lock the mount and even still the arm would bounce very noticeably. Toy for fun? Yes. Toy for big boy fun? Absolutely not.
