A nice upgrade
I would consider myself an intermediate player. For the first time in years now playing a few times a week. This is a nice upgrade from a basic paddle. Clearly better spin and control. I am very happy with it

Best bang for the buck
This was my first competitive paddle, and I have been nothing but satisfied. I was able to improve my game vastly using this paddle. I use a fair amount of spin, and was able to see a lot of progress once I started using it. My game has improved beyond using only one paddle, but I still use this one equally with the new one I purchased. My coach recommended this to me as the best bang for the buck in a beginner paddle, and after using it for several months, I agree with him 100%.

Hits great, snapped quick
This paddle hits amazingly well, perfect balance of speed and spin for me (I just play for fun with friends, but am decent--I hit pretty much exclusively topspin shots and this racquet has the best feel of any I've tried). It's very lightweight too. I have had butterfly paddles in this price range as well as the Palio Expert II (which was also great), and this has been the best one by far. Unfortunately, the handle snapped off within a little over a month of play. I didn't hit it on the table or anything, just the torque of a hard backhand snapped it. Again, Im just a recreational player, so I don't know if how I hold the paddle is proper, it's just what works for me. I think that may have contributed to it snapping, but I have never had this happen on another paddle, even over years of usage. If you are super into ping pong, I'd still recommend it--maybe this one was just a dud. But if you just want a good paddle for messing around with friends, maybe find something more durable.

Great racket, coming from an intermediate player
This is my first, not generic racket, I love it. I can finally spin and respond to spinned shots! I knew it wasn't just my skills, the racket does matter a lot. It is a little bouncy but I love it.

Wow!
Amazing racket! This racket is extremely high quality from the case, to the core, to the rubber. Everything about this racket screams professional. I have bought many rackets and I have never seen such an impressive looking set up. The feel of hitting the ball with this is simply unmatched. With this incredible example of engineering, I instantly became the best player in the club. Every aspect of my game improved from my serves, to offensive play and defensive play. This is just an all around good racket. It is excellent for both beginners, and advanced players. I truly cannot see any possible improvements to this impeccable piece of equipment.

Dead paddle.
Dead paddle. Less bounce than a $5 foamless paddle. Sending it right back, I’d say it must be defective.

Not what I was looking for. They also just ship it in the case, no other protection.
I wanted to switch to a wood bat for the better feedback. I tried this bat out and it felt slower compared to my Stiga Pro Carbon. Not a shocker as the Stiga is a 5 wood + 2 carbon while this is a 5-ply wood. With this bat I was hoping to find a happy medium in speed vs control, but for me it felt like too much of a downgrade. Could be good for someone who doesn’t yet feel confident in their strokes. On a more negative note. I was not pleased with the packaging of this item, it was too minimal and did not fully protect the bat. The rubber was nicked in several spots due to inadequate shipping. I ordered it on Amazon. The quality of the assembly also seemed mediocre as the edge tape was not flush against the surface near the bottom of the blade face.

Great Control, Speed and Spin
The racket is really good for intermediate players. This has elevated my game a lot. I specially like the control i get due to this racket. Overall a good buy after trying couple of others
