Q-Scope 80200-P 8MP 200X Handheld USB Microscope with Polarizer

I had an earlier version of the Q scope and it worked fine. I purchased this one seeking higher resolution. I assumed it was an upgrade. It was far from it.First, the lighting of an object was very poor. One could barely make out the surface no less than the actual item being imaged.Second, there were artifacts in the lens and focusing mechanism that gave a scintillation in the images.Third, there was a significant delay in image capture resulting in blurred and misplaced images.Overall the unit was totally useless.

The 200x magnification is a joke. What they dont tell you is it will not focus under that which makes it useless. You are stuck with the 50x mag. This is also not accurate as when focusing on a .010" hole, it only appears around 1/4" on the screen, which makes it 25x mag, not 50. I have the page opened up as large as it will go on my TV screen also, so that is not the issue. The software is shotty too. The picture cuts out when clicking on buttons.My digital camera has better zoom then this thing does. I should have bought a Dino-Lite.
