The best yarn for felted stockings!

I bought this yarn to make a cozy for my coffee press-pot. It came out beautifully. The stitch definition was very nice. I had enough yarn left over to make myself a simple beanie. The color is beautiful and the yarn is warm. I love both items I knitted. This yarn would knit up to make a beautiful sweater.

I always love Brown Sheep yarns. This is my all time favorite to knit with. The sweaters are deliciously warm. I’m now weaving with this in the Krokbragd style. It makes a nice thick weave.

Excellent quality. Strand had the same thickness throughout the whole ball of yarn.

I got what I ordered, but it wasn't what I needed. Quality was good, color as represented, softness was OK.

I was looking for more of some yard I already had to finish a Christmas Stocking I was knitting. This was exactly what I wanted. The dye lots must be consistent for this neutral color at least and the size and weight of the fiber was close enough that I could see no difference from what I had purchase several years ago.

I've used Lambs Pride for years. It's a wonderful mix of wool and mohair and makes warm and cozy mittens--the main items I knit with the product. I was so glad to find it at Amazon.

I love this yarn. It's single ply and the thickness varies a bit along the length which gives a nice texture. Soft and warm in great colors. A pleasure to work with. There is quite a bit of variation between dye lots so be mindful of that when you are deciding how much to buy.
