Looks great, works for rock64 too
Beautiful. I actually ordered this for a Pine64's Rock 64 1gb that I bought a few years ago. I had bought one of the other zebra clear cases, and another case that was transparent and had a lid opened that also held the fan. The latter one fell apart over time and was never sturdy, the former has held up fine, but was difficult to put together since I had to remove all of the individual paper protectors for each transparent layer before putting building it. This one comes pre assembled, so you simply remove the screws, which are easy too because these are the kind that the nuts go into the screw openings, so that it holds onto the opening so you're not trying to hold all the layers together and a nut while trying to screw it together. Such a minor difference, but makes the whole process much easier. Theres only 2 papers to unpeal from the blue transparent pieces, which is easy to do, and had it not been for having to flip around a couple of the parts and remove some of the thinner plastic bits, I would've been finished right away if I was using it for a rpi 5. The difference between the Rpi5 and the Rock 64 simply required flipping 2 of the black layers, and removing some of the inner materila on those same layers, but it was very easy to do, put back together, and it works and looks fantastic. The fan in the stock photo is the fan that ships, the one in the picture of the individual componenets doesnt look like its the same as the put together photo, but it is the same one actually. Its much quieter than the fans that have more blades and probably moves more air too. Overall its slightly bigger than the zebra case, and the fan protrudes a bit, but overall it looks very clean, discreet, and somehow more impressive than the other cases I've used.

Keeping it at 32-33C with the 3.3V pin
While it would be difficult to assemble without instructions, the instructions are illustrated very well and the pi fit snuggly. The fan is keeping the temperature down. Without the case, the Pi was reaching 42 degrees Celsius, but with it (using just the 3.3V pin), it's hovering around 33C. I like its little rubber feet. They give it good traction so the weight of the cables don't move it around. The GPIO board is technically open for use in the case, but a little hard to access without tweezers. That said, the case is a little hard to take apart because it uses screws. They did include an extra screw and cap, which is good, because I think one cap was stripped when I took it apart while testing the fan on various GPIO pins. Here's what I found: based on the tests and the illustration in the instructions, the fan does seem specifically intended for the constant power pins (3.3V and 5V), because it didn't seem to get enough power through the GPIO pins (like pin 14) to turn on programmatically (I could give a prod to start spinning it when the programmable pin was toggled on, and while the spinning could sustain, it had negligible effects on the temperature). I learned that this is because the other programmable GPIO pins only give "up to" 3.3V depending on other power expenditure. So, I had to use the constant voltage pins to get the temperature reduction. I don't know how long the fan will last while always on, but I'll update if it dies quickly. If you are looking for a good programmable fan, you probably need one that will take 3 pins: ground, power, and input (rather than just ground and power like this one). It makes the pi's LED lights pretty hard to see from anywhere but directly above, so you might want a clear sided one if that's important to you. Overall, a good case for the price. If a programmable fan is important to you, the case might not be for you, but it suits my needs for now: keep it cool, keep the weight of cables from moving it, and make it look neat.

Great looking highly functional case for a Pi4
The Pi4 is a very nice bit of hardware but it runs very hot out of the box, even without overclocking ... I had to throttle mine back to get decent temps and decided it really needed a decent enclosure. This stylish case protects the board and features a fan and a few heat sinks. It works great for me, core temps are consistently in the low 90's with the fan on lower voltage. Easy enough to put together and looks really good. Access to all the ports and GPIO pins too if needed. (Note that the fan connector uses either the 5v or 3v pin)

Cool looking, not hard to assemble
I got this for a Pi 4. When I bought this, I didn't realize it would be assembled in layers but it was easy to put together and DOES look cool! Great case for price.

Better than CanaKit case
Bought this to replace 4-5 year old CanaKit case that developed a noisy fan. This case maintains a CPU temperature 8-10° F lower. Directions could be better especially for fan orientation, but good enough.

Poor fit for Pi 4
A decent case, however the connectors on the side (usb-c, micro-hdmi) are too close to the edge to allow cables to be fully inserted. I temporarily took the pi out of the case to use the hdmi since I did not need to use them permanently. The usb-c power cable still works even though not fully inserted. Other than that, the fit and finish on the sides is just ok. Fan and heat sinks seem decent, no heat issues.

Good case for general use
Fits snuggly, easy assembly, clear instructions, handy screwdriver included. Took a star for having a (cover, plate, plastic plate?) for the side with USB-C. Doesn't hurt function just esthetics. A extra nut wouldn't hurt either (they are tiny so assemble on a tray to contain them if dropped). Fan is quiet. All ports are accessible. Overall a good, case for general use. I'm using for home automation build.

This is the perfect little case for the Raspberry Pi 4. It comes with clear, easy to follow instructions, a screwdriver for the parts of the assembly that need it, and 4 heat sinks for the various chips to help with cooling. My one gripe is that some of the layers of the case are rather fragile. I ended up breaking one of them, but I was still able to fit it together properly. It’s nice that they allow both the 3.3V and 5V power to the fan, so you can choose between quiet and performance cooling. And the rubber feet are a nice touch. I also like that the GPIO pins are still accessible in addition to all the ports and card reader. Overall, this is a great, good looking case for anyone with a Raspberry Pi 4

My unit was running at 54 degrees Celsius. After this case, it has dropped to mid 30. This was the main reason I bought this case, so I am happy with it. Instructions are easy to follow.

Unless you expect it to work with a Raspberry Pi 3 It works well on my Raspberry Pi 4

I purchased this for use with a Pi 3B, as per the description. Not worth returning due to the crazy time and delivery of replacement. Not happy, please change the description, as this looks like it would be a great case, if you had the correct Pi model.
