Works perfect
I have seen some of the reviews that show a lot of movement where the pitcher is housed. Looks like flimsy base. What I have learned by using this product for months now. Yes, there is a lot of movement where the pitcher is placed. However, no matter where the pitcher is placed on the base, the pitcher lid is designed at an angle, so it will always drip into the pitcher. I have not had any issues. If you want a true high quality product, you are going to need to pay a helluva lot more. We use this product every other day. One thing we do after each use, is turn the machine over into the sink and slightly shake any excess water (there is usually a little bit of water left in the reservoir) to help dry out machine. We always keep the machine unplugged. We also position the percolator arm to the back, so that the lid lays on it and stays open for a few hours to dry out. Machine has been well worth it to us. We have zero complaints about this inexpensive option. I rather enjoy this machine, we don't use ice during the brewing, we double brew basically to the top of the pitcher (let it cool, while cooling I transfer all my teabags into the pitcher to steep for extra 30 mins) and then add cold water to fill our other gallon pitcher to the top and refrigerate, then we add ice into the glasses. Fun tidbit of information is when I double brew, I put 10 regular size green tea bags into the filter (for my gallon pitcher) and 4 or 5 country peach tea bags (from celestial seasonings) and it makes yummy peach tea!! Have fun!!!

easy to use and does a great job. I hate plastics but this will do.
Works great and a good price. I don't put all the ice in it that it requires. I brew the tea, add it to a pitcher of cold water and let it get cold for a while.

Cheaply made, but gets the job done.
I bought this iced tea maker specifically to brew 2 quarts of of hot tea every couple of days. That's all I need it for. And it does that. I put 8 tea bags in the mesh basket. I fill with cold water to the fill line, then turn it on. After 15 minutes have passed, I fill it with cold water halfway to the fill line and press the on button again. When it is finished brewing, I remove the pitcher and put the mesh bag with the tea bags in it into the pitcher, and let them steep there until the tea is cool. Then I remove the bags and refrigerate the pitcher of brewed tea. I make glassfuls of iced tea as I need them. I have gotten used to the things I don't like about this tea maker, but they are definitely there. It is very cheaply made. The lid is a bit too small for the pitcher, and the first (and only) time I tried to pour from the pitcher with the lid on, the lid fell right out. Luckily I was holding it over the sink, because tea spilled out, as well. The slider to adjust the strength of the brewed tea moves easily on its own. I am not sure why anyone would want to brew weak tea, but we have manipulated the slider so that it is set permanently on strong. If I accidentally press the on button when I am putting the tea maker away, I daren't plug it in that way the next time because there is no way to turn it off. I have to wait until the unit is filled and ready to go before plugging it in because it will immediately start trying to brew. As I said, I have adjusted to these things, but I would have been happier with this tea maker if I didn't have to.

Beats The Pants Off Other Ice Tea Makers I've Tried
This ice tea maker deserves five stars if only for the plastic pitcher. It doesn't crack, it's dish washer safe, and tea doesn't stain it. Following directions will give you only about 2/3 or so of a full pitcher. I guess that's for adding oranges or whatever. There is no problem adding more ice above the fill line. That'll give you a few more cups so a pitcher lasts a bit longer. Do *not* remove the pitcher as soon as the power light goes off. Hot tea continues to dribble into the pitcher for a minute or so. The brew cycle takes about 11 minutes. I like to sweeten my tea. So I add a coffee filter to the basket (not the basket with the metal filter), add sugar, and then four or five family size tea bags. Yeah, I like strong tea. I've used this for a couple months now and am a happy camper. Highly recommended.

Best Tea Maker Ever!!
This pot makes THE BEST Ice tea!! The price is a great value and the finished product is smooth with no harsh taste. Clean up is easy, as the pot, lid and 2 baskets inside to hold the tea bags are simple to take out to wash!!! Brews in no time. Sleek, takes up little room and is a great addition to my kitchen!!!

On/off switch doesn't work but rest is ok
Ordered a replacement ice tea maker as the pitcher broke after 1 year. Can't order just the pitcher. First one arrived, cannot turn it off or on. Switch is broken. Returned it. Second one, same thing. Contacted manufacturer but they will charge me $17 to ship it back for warranty. Unsure even if I did that if I would get another broken one. So now I just have to plug in and unplug when done. Not the biggest deal but poor quality and limited support.

I drink ALOT of ice tea. This is a great product. Easy to clean and lots of flavor. The marks for water and ice are way off in order to get a full pitcher but once i figured out what works it was amazing.
