Perfect for sourdough bread
I really like these banneton baskets for making sourdough bread. They are a good size, sturdy, and easy to use. They help give the dough a beautiful shape and texture during proofing. A great addition to my baking supplies!

Use when sourdough is rising
I bought these as part of my sourdough journey. They seem to work well. But honestly I don’t have anything to compare it to. I like them . The fabric washes well and stays true to size.

Very nice but too small for me
These look like very nice baskets, but are a bit small for the loaves of sourdough bread that I make. I need to look for larger baskets. My loaves are 600g whole wheat sourdough and after proofing would overflow these baskets a lot. They seem like very nice baskets that I will keep if/when I make smaller loaves.

Nicely made and good for a smaller loaf
These were actually smaller than I was looking for. but good if you want to half your sourdough loafs and make two smaller ones. the quality is good with a substantial feel. Liner looks like it would wash up well.

Great for mini-loaves of sourdough bread
I read the reviews for how many grams of dough the 6" oval banneton holds before I took a chance on buying it. I mix 500g flour with 350g water, keep my starter percent to 7-10% depending on the season & use 2% salt. I also add inclusions. I usually divide the dough in half, laminate it, add inclusions, shape and add to the 2 bannetons so it'll hold around 450-500g dough. It'll sometimes rise above the rim but won't overflow. I bake sourdough as gifts and have used all 5 bannetons at once occasionally. The cloth liner needs to be hand-washed and hung dry. I put it on the stove under the oven vent in the back to dry. I've included photos for reference next to an 8x4" glass loaf pan. It's held up for the past few months I've used them (baking 2x a week).
