Recon Chest Rig

i was really surprised. most equipment. vests ect i have bought over the years had required that i modify the straps some way to fit my frame and well lets be honest beer gut, but this thing fits big guys I've got a 52 chest no modification needed! in fact the straps and adjustments have at least another 6-8incsh left that i don't need and they have proper storage so they don't hang down or get in the way. I am also impressed with the stitching and quality of the material. this is a very nice well made chest rig with lots of adjustment even for big and tall folks.

I judge all my gear based on what i was issued in the military and for what i paid for it, i really like this chest rig. Is it top of the line gear? No. But it only cost about a fourth of what you would pay for top of the line gear. The quality is good enough although i would've preferred a double stitch. So far i have 6 pmags, 6 1911 mags, my knife, light, dump pouch and IFAK attached to it and it carries the load well. I prefer all my mags to be in the front so that i have access to them with either hand. This rig also sits up high enough that accessing my sidearm from my belt is not a problem, just dont mount anything too big to the side you wear your pistol on. If you are buying this for a shtf scenario like i did, keep in mind that the more stuff you rock in the front, the harder it is to get low to the ground if the bullets ever start flying for real. That being said, this rig carries about everything you would need, adjust to fit almost any size person out there, and is comfortable to wear. A good buy in my opinion.

Alright. Lets keep in mind that this is a $42 chest rig. Got it in the mail in 2 days, as always. It comes adjusted to fit a 6'5" 400 lb NFL lineman. Fear not!!! it is adjustable! I am 5'3" and 160lbs. it fits me nice and snug. Some people say it rides a little low, just put it where you want it on your chest and have your wife or whoever adjust it for you. it will adjust just fine. My rig before this was a Titan. I've had it for years and its been through a lot. (2 duty stations, 1 deployment, a lot of field time{I was an 11b}, and several schools) I fit it up with all my gear and ran around did some mag changes tested it out a little, the material and set up is very similar to the Titan, which is $200+ rig. Of course only time will tell, but for a quick SHTF situation, this will more than do. And for all your airsoft guys out there. I'm sure this will work for you too.. Seems everybodys biggest concerns are the quality and size, but let me assure you, both are fine, I'll go to my buddys house soon and run around and shoot and all that and let you all know how it goes, I don't see it being a problem though. I put the condor pistol holder on it and that seems to be working out well, nice and quick/clean draw. In the picture I have it loaded out with 6 AR mags 4 .45XD mags, a .45XD fullsized. I am going to add an IFAK soon. Hey if it sucks after a year of use, buy 2 more and you still aren't spending as much on a titan! I'll keep you guys updated. hope this review helped...

I bought this item about a month ago for a three week training exercise at Camp Shelby, MS this summer for my Guard unit. We're a mechanized infantry unit and I used this rig with the attachable camelback back piece and it performed as well as I would have hoped. Buckles are secure and I didn't have any trouble fitting it to me whether we wore our body armor or not. I never used the pistol mag pouches in the front except for a gerber, a flashlight, and some chem lights. The rest of those pouches I just tucked in but overall it worked awesome and I had some guys in my squad ask where I got it and were surprised when I said I only paid $60 for it. The pouch on the far left is a utility pouch I bought to store my NODs because they're is really no other place to store larger items the far right is just an IFAK I had to attach. There are also inner mag pouches if you have more than 6 mags (6 and one in your weapon being a normal combat load). There's also a mesh pocket on the very inside that I kept notes and medevac and fire mission reference cards.

The quality for this chest rig is high. It's incredibly universal and has room for more pouches and accessories. I will be adding a canteen kit to this and a ouch pouch (can never have too much medical) but honestly it's quite strong and well made. I was impressed. A lot of people look down on Condor and I was weary but truth is I'm quite amazed at what I got. I originally wanted a very good name brand chest rig but this worked so well that I even signed up with Condor's website. It's 9/10 for me. It's not an LBX or LBT but it's quality is very high and I'm hoping it lasts quite a long time.

This rig is durable. Through and through it makes out ok after being scraped along dust sand and dirt. It gets dirty- it gets clean when you wash it. Rig will stain with blood however (semipermanently) It leaves some off color if you bleed or get someone elses blood on it so be weary of that. Now that I've got the probably most important things out of the way heres everything I like: I like the fit, the adjustability, and the pattern and fit. I got this to hold me over until my custom rig was being produced. I enjoyed using this- I will admit the lack of customization on this rig is pretty disappointing, but if you're going to war on a budget then by all means get this. If you're playing airsoft and paintball this works for that too. I would honestly shell out the extra cash and go for the slightly higher end Condor Chest rig. It comes in the same color and is just as comfy. This is great to carry some weight too. If you want to train you can run in this and it can break in your boots and other gear on runs. It is great for the price- but I've learned you shouldn't skim on gear because 9/10 times you end up regretting it in the field or right out of the box. Hope this helps you tactical folks out!!

Première impression au déballage : il s'agit d'un produit de très bonne qualité tant au niveau des matériaux employés que de la finition globale (coutures, velcros, ...). Les réglages ont pris un peu de temps mais ne sont pas compliqués à effectuer. Par contre, je ne pense pas que ce modèle soit bien adapté aux petits gabarits : je mesure 1.90 m pour 92 kg et je ne suis pas loin des réglages mini. Des équipements optionnels existent (notamment l'hydropack) et on peut ajouter des accessoires MOLLE sur les côtés grâce à deux emplacements 4x4 MOLLE.

this in an extremely good chest rig once you’ve gotten it to fit, I managed to do it by myself and I’m 5,6 and literally don’t weigh anything. I’m ver skinny so seeing reviews saying it was to big was concerning however I have Magee to get it to fit literally perfectly. I can’t praise this enough. I have chopped one very long piece off from when I was adjusting which I am fine with. The mag pouches are very accessible and you don’t really need the rubber cord holding them. It fits snug to my chest with no wobble or movement from the x back straps, over all very happy and if you’re worried you’re too small and skinny for this DONT!! if I’ve got it to work so can you!
