Alpine S-S10TW S-Series 1" Silk Dome Tweeter Set

So I have a 2017 10th gen civic touring edition with the upgraded sounds systsem and the tweeters and high end has always sounded really harsh so I thought I would give these a try and they sound way better. the stock tweeters are 4ohm and these are 6ohm and was slightly confused when they included a cable that just says 1ohm 10 watt and tell you to put it in line with the tweeter with no explaination. I included it in the wiring when I installed to be safe and it sounds good no volume or level issues so I guess its fine. Also cool that the alpine logo is optional you can stick it on or leave it off I'm going to leave it off so it looks like its part of the car.

The speaker is as described, it even came with a set of wires to allow you to splice the speaker in and have quick disconnects. They sound good and perform significantly better than the speakers in my 2003 Honda Accord

20 minute install - complete revolution of sound quality! Running off factory Alpine upgrade amp and speakers and 730N but have had other Jeep factory systems and believe the improved soundstage and treble performance would be a big boost for any set up. Sound detail and spatial separation is like wearing headphones. Very recommended.

The inline crossover is long and needs space, wouldn’t fit in my front dash, used in A pillar instead

I installed these in the front door of my 2013 Mazda 5. The car originally came with OEM tweeters in the doors and I thought they were good enough. However, OEM ones are only 25W RMS, vs 80W RMS for Alpine. Sound difference is more than obvious. Even though I have Alpine 5x7s in the bottom of the door that have own tweets, they now produce more of a mid punch. Most of the high frequency sound is now coming from these tweets. I did have to drill out a 2inch hole to install these. Also, since these are larger than OEM, the mirror harness connectors needs to be moved out of the way a little. There is enough slack in the harness, though, and all the panels reinstall back in place without any problems.

I bought these tweeters to replace the muffled sounding factory tweets in my 2019 Ford Ranger. You can not place these tweeters in the door piller as is without have to cut into it. Instead of cutting, I popped the tweeters out of their case and hot glued them in place where the factory ones where and then added the round sponge behind the tweeter for extra support. They don’t rattled and are stuck in good. As of now there’s no adapter for factory wiring so you need to splice the wires in. Other then that they sound great and the clarity is nice and crisp.

Custom did it for my 2020 Corolla and it actually sounds pretty good. Just need to make a couple adjustments but pretty straight forward. 100% would recommend

Love these tweeters . They sound awesome , clear an crisp . Not gonna mention any names but I had a pretty decent pair of tweeters before these an they sounded good but the kept burning out , so these alpines sound better but it's still early yet . I got smarter on this buy though , I got a three year warranty plan that starts after the manufacturers warranty so I should be good for some time now . Always had good luck with Alpine before don't know why I changed to something else .
