Howard Leight by Honeywell Leightning L0F Folding Safety Earmuff (1013461),Black

These earmuffs are great. I have now worn these earmuff for two transcontinental flights, one 6 hours long, the other 5 hours long. I wore these continuously except when going to the restroom or when talking to a flight attendant. I wear a size 7 3/4 hat. These earmuffs were very comfortable and did not feel too tight nor created any soreness. I needed to adjust the earmuffs against my head to make a seal...I could tell when the seal was good when I pressed the earmuffs and could feel the pressure differential in my eardrums. This is my setup and what I found out... 1. My setup was first to use Audio Technica ATH ANC3 noise cancelling earbuds. I then put these HL earmuffs over the earbuds. 2. This was very very quiet. During the flight, the noise level was equivalent of being in a hotel room with the central air conditioning fan set to medium speed. A room with a window air conditioner would be noticeably louder than what I was hearing with this setup. 3. I was able to listen to classical music. at low levels. I could barely hear any flight attendant announcement. The Audio Technica are pretty good. Putting on these earmuffs cuts the noise level by more than half again. I could barely hear conversations next to me, but could not make out what was said. I had no screaming baby next to me, but I believe this would filter out all the high frequency shrieking (which is what is irritating to me) and only let some of the low frequencies to pass. However after having my own kids, I learned how to only listen for my kids screaming and filter out other kids screaming....sounds weird but I found other parents that can do the same thing... Overall, for me, these are comfortable over long periods of time. There is pressure against my head that keep the earmuffs sealed. It doesn't bother me but some people may find that pressure annoying or painful if you do not like any pressure on the side of your head. So be aware of this potential downside. But if you can tolerate this pressure, the combination of noise cancelling earbuds and this earmuff is phenomenal and makes for a very quiet airplane ride

Fit, feel great. Slim muffs, hug my fat head good and fit over my ears perfect. The adjustments for fitting is really only friction on the thin metal bracket holding each ear muff, but it's working good, not loose (like I had from some Howard Leight powered muffs). There's another version of these just slightly priced higher, I think they too go by the name LOF. I had a pair of them, they did not fit as well. Didn't fit over my head as well and the ear pieces were smaller, not fully covering my ear. Tiny head, get those. For about 18 bucks shipped free, there's not any reason not to get these. They block sound good, but I still use those soft sponge type ear plugs with em. These muffs for the price, fit, comfort, are awesome. No batteries required with these puppies. They come packed in an easy to open cardboard box. The slightly higher priced versions, which did not fit me as well were in a PITA plastic covering required a knife to open them.

Does the job at an indoor shooting range. Very light weight. Easy to fold up and takes little space in your bag. Comfortable to wear for a couple hours. Pistols and rifle fire muffled well. Shotgun fire still rings a bit.

This is very good ears protection against all sounds. The sound protection is very good. These earmuffs are so good and confortable that I put them on my ears and I fell asleep 2 minutes after that. You can sleep with them, they are very comfortable. They put no pressure against the ears, and they are thin and elegant. A comment from me: when they arrived and I put them I said that they are too small, but immediately after I found that they are adjustable. After adjusting them, I found that they are not too small for my big head. Thus I am saying thank you. They arrived here in Eastern Europe 6 days after they were shipped. Fast and convenient!

Lightweight, and folds up small for storage. I bought this for international pistol shooting competitions where I need to block out noise and protect my ears but still be able to hear people speak (electronic earmuffs not allowed). Does a great job and is very comfortable for extended wear after the addition of gel earcups.

In total I've bought 4 sets of these ears. Previously I bought two so I can take my dad shooting and have ear safety, and I was very impressed on how low profile these sit on your head, allowing us to get close to the stock without any interference. Additionally, it did the job well and using them with no ear plugs still protected our ears enough. Additionally the storage is pretty small too, all said and done it's only a bit bigger than the size of my fist. After a few uses I got two more pairs to bring my brother, girlfriend and others.

Bought these on others recommendations. Barely used them for a year, and once I started using them, the plastic on top snaped in half. Total junk, your better off buying some cheap stuff from the box stores. Useless.

Excellent quality. Ideal sounding blocking headphones for a classroom. Purchased for a 10 year old strong academic achiever. Not embarrassing, other classmates express interest in using. Compact for school desks.

事故後、聴覚過敏になりました。 騒音はもとより、カフェでの周囲の会話や食器がぶつかる音、椅子を引きずる音、地下鉄の走行時、停車時のきんきんとした音などが耐えられなくなり、外出が苦痛になりました。脳疲労につながるために、なにか策はないかと考えてのことでした。他商品ではいろいろな価格帯のノイズキャンセラーなど優秀な商品も出ているようですが、私は以前使用したことのあるこちらの商品を再度選びました。耳への圧迫もなく、音も遮断してくれるのと、軽量なのがなにより気に入っています。私は耳栓はどれも相性が悪かったので、こちらの商品に非常に満足しています。また、もっと音を遮断したいという方は、耳栓などと併用すれば、完全に無音状態になるものと思われます。予備として、もうひとつ購入することを検討しています。 ひとつだけ指摘させてください。 両脇にあるロゴマーク、私のケースでは一日使用しただけで片方はすべて消えてしまいました。他方も数回で。こんなに簡単に消えてしまうものなら、印字がいらないのではないかとさえ思います。ご参考までに。
