Pros are that you can pull this out of your Sony digital camera, plug it into your psp, and save pics directly. Or if you own a compatible Sony tv you can plug it in and view pics/files.Cons are that it's proprietary(of course-it's SONY!)Sandisk has an extremely low product failure rate, so I will always pay a little extra for the piece of mind vs. buying an 'aftermarket' product elsewhere.

1 GB Memory Stick for ten bucks in a pretty good deal. I bought it for my lil sister and so far it works great on the PSP. She only needs it to save her game files and maybe upload a couple of mP3 files. With 1 GB thats enough memory. No complaints really. I recommend anyone to buy one.

If you are somone that doesn't know much about PSP's and wants a good cheap memory card this is for you. Here are some things about it....1. this memory card can hold around 240 songs -WITHOUT PICTURES-.(the memory may not be as big as an Ipod but you can upgrade to somthing bigger if you want. If your like me, your using this for mostly gaming so its not a big prob.)2. This memory can hold about 500-1,000 photos -WITHOUT SONGS-.

Does what it is supposed to do. Saves loads of photos, hours of podcasts and songs, and at least 3 hours+ of video. I would say, for the price, you should buy this.One more comment. It is amazing how fast these things drop in price. The price here, is about 1/4 the introductory price. That in itself, is really amazing! Memory cards for consoles are still the same, but this memory card is super low! now! Wow! It works pretty good, real fast too. Only problme, no plastic case came w/the memory card.

Ive just bought a PSP along with 3 games, a hard protective case, a USB/recharger cord as well as this little number. So far Im very happy with this purchase.You would have to work pretty hard to fill this thing up with game saves. In truth I got this so that I can put movies on it and watch the things as I ride back and for to work on the train. With one gig most movies will fit on this with little if any loss of visible quality. Thats also a whole lot of music I can carry to pass the time during my commute.Overall Im very glad I bought this.

Got this to replace the too-small 32 MB pack-in card with the PSP. Works great, comes in a little clear hardcase, seems to be faster than Sony's. Fits about 3 hours of converted DVD video as well as about 100 photos, all game saves, and 10-20 MP3s. Has made my PSP better than a portable DVD player (battery life is better playing from a MemStick than from UMD). Save up for this to make your PSP into a media powerhouse.

This is THE perfect memory card for the PSP at the moment. It has enough memory to hold 90 mins of high quality dvd-mp4 conversions or 6 hours of low quality. It can hold 500-700 mp3's or WMA files (the psp can play WMA files when upgraded to versian 2.60 at yourpsp.com). The 512mb card can't realy hold mp4's properly and the 2gb card is currentle £150-£200, it just doesnt seem right to spend as much on the memory card as on the console itself. I advise: 128mb for game saves + game downloads, 256mb for game saves, game downloads and some music, 512mb for music, game saves and game downloads or 1gb+ for MP4(/dvd-mp4 converts), music, game saves and downloads. As i want my PSP to be a multi-media device i have opted for this memory card.
