Charges well so far the first time I used it.

Charger For Black & Decker Batteries.
This charger doesn't lock onto the battery like some other brands do, but it slides on securely enough to let you charge your battery. It works well with my HPB 12 battery. I wish it could fully charge a drained battery more quickly, but its charging time is comparable to what you get charging the battery on the drill with the manufacturer's AC adapter plugged in.

Battery charger FAILED to charge my known good batteries. Tried several times... it's a dud.
Product failed to charge known good batteries. I bought this as a second charger, because I have two batteries, and I want both to be fully charged when i go to use them.Such a disappointment. The charger light turns on and then later shows it's completed, but the battery barely had any charge! I swapped batteries several times between my known good charger, and the real black-and-decker charger charges the batteries fine.This was just a dud. Will look elsewhere.
