Skechers Sport Men's Stamina Nuovo Cutback Lace-Up Sneaker

I ordered the same product in two different colors. To my surprise, one color included a memory-foam insole and the other color did not. A visit to the manufacturer's web site revealed the following.The product description "Skechers Sport Men's Stamina Nuovo Cutback Lace-Up Sneaker" is incorrect. Skechers has two models: Stamina - Nuovo (50988) and Stamina - Cutback (51286). The Cutback (51286) is about $10 more and features a memory-foam insole. The Nuovo (50988) does NOT feature a memory-foam insole.One last comment. The "navy" is more like gray with just a hint of blue. Unless you saw my navy and gray side by side, you would think that the navy was really gray.

I have issues with me feet and I am always looking for good shoes. I read reviews where people say that the shoes are "incredibly comfortable". I don't know what that means, because I have bought those shoes based on that review but could not wear the shoes for very long and couldn't wait to get them off my feet. I have flat feet that are also pretty wide. I always wear extra wide shoes, so I am comparing apples to apples. These shoes are simply the best I have worn in many many years. It's difficult to explain, but it almost feels like my feet are bouncing when I walk. The inside of the shoes are soft and plush. I removed the insoles as I have to wear my custom orthotics to support my feet. Nevertheless, it is a soft impact when I am walking and my feet do not get uncomfortable throughout my work day. The other thing is that they fit around my foot really well, so there is no movement of my foot inside the shoe. This means no rubbing and no blisters or anything like that. I really like this shoe and am buying another pair now for when my current pair wears out.

I just got these today, and I'll update in a few months if they fall apart, but out of the box these things are awesome! These shoes are built like brick s#!t houses! Sturdy stitching in all the right places. The tread seems like it is pretty solid as well. I'm hoping these last a while. I plan to use these for my daily 4.5 mile runs, so time will tell. The memory foam out of the package is like walking on a cloud though! Super comfortable!

I've been wearing these almost every day for more than a year. I only have this pair of shoes so I use these for walking, go to college, go out, for everything. These are the most durable shoes I ever used.Very confortable, the size I bought fit a bit large, but it's ok.Will I buy more shoes of this brand? Of course!The pictures shows how my sneakers looks after a year of use.

I stopped buying Sketchers about 6 years ago because they always fell apart so quickly. I switched to a competing brand and had great success, but my last pair only lasted 6 months. So, I thought I'd try these Sketchers based upon the reviews. They are basically the same price I had been paying. However, I have only been wearing these since May 28th ( just 14 days) and you can see from the photo they are falling apart already. This is ridiculous. I use these as daily wear, but work from home in an office environment. So, you decide. Worth it? I don't think so and my perception of the Sketchers brand goes back to 6 years ago. I see I can return these, but I certainly do not want the same thing or same brand. I have to give these things a 1 out of 5 and try to be super fair on my reviews. With that said, they are comfortable. They just are not durable whatsoever.

Great shoes I am a residential carpenter,but do all kinds of residential work,sometimes on roofs sometimes under houses,anyway I have gone through about 10 pairs of these in the last 3-4 years and have no need of any other tennis shoe they are made large all the way around which is fine for my slightly large wide foot,fits like a champ,may be too wide for guys with skinny feet though,in all other brands I need to size up and get wides,IMO these are one of those rare finds that are worth ordering extra and saving,the padding and support are excellent,I have converted a few aging Carpenters who only wore skate/deck shoes and were having leg/back pain to try these and they became believers. 3-6 months is what you can expect from a pair of these in residential construction which is all I want from a pair of work shoes to maintain good foot health. Size 12 reg. is comparable to 12.5/13 wide in other brands,if you plan on using your own insoles you can get the stamina nuevos without memory foam cheaper,the stamina nuevos cutbacks have the memory foam for $10 more.

Extremely well padded shoes, and very roomy too. That said I need orthotics (insoles), really great ones, for bad ankle, and painful heels too. The insoles that come with these shoes are good for about a week and then break down too much for my own extreme needs for extremely well padded insoles (orthotics).These Skechers are a great value and fit those needs of mine extremely well, less the fast wearing insoles versus an extra large man's weight.I don't care for the white shoe strings though. Really wish they were matching grey shoe strings. And the white sidewall should be grey instead too, all to help hide the shoes dirt and what not as they age. White just shows every last tiny bit of grunge and dirt! But besides those two issues their awesome fitting, extra wide size 12 men's shoes, and true extra wide shoes, which many brands are not anymore! I have been through many pairs of these shoes and the model they replaced too, for many years now.I keep returning year after year to these shoes, and one other Skecher model too, and only hope they will address what I mentioned here in this model shoe to make them really tailored to my desires (all grey, and with even more solid, and much more strongly padded and longer lasting insoles before they gently break down a bit too much rather rapidly as is, but that is easily fixable with a pair of orthotics/shoe inserts, but a bit of a downer for the added cost. But besides that these are extremely common issues across almost all shoes today. This is a very decent shoe of good quality, and a really good value compared to much more costly shoes.

Brought these for my son who has very large feet. They fit very well and he states they are comfortable. The trainers feel of quality and not light and flimsy. The price was fantastic. I find it very difficult to get him shoes due to the size of his feet, and usually have to pay a premium for a larger size, therefore making these trainers well worth the buy.

Great trainers for the money. They are not the best trainers I've owned but best for value for money. If you you want the wide fit option look else where as they are not worth the price that they are.

The finish on the right shoe is different to that of the left.
