Dango Design GoPro Gripper Mount

This is an awesome idea. I have been using these for about 3 years. It allows my set up my GoPro on my helmets so I can change between helmets quickly and easily. I don’t have to modify my helmet and have bits stuck to it.I can take it off and clip it to other surfaces and rotate the camera to other angles. With the go pro media mod I can also attach a mic.If it rains I can quickly unclip it and throw it in the top box.The clip is strong and I have no problems with it falling off, even riding tracks. If it was to fall off it has a small strap that I attach to the chin strap so won’t lose anything.It does sometimes slip down a little on one of my helmets because of the materials but generally the rubber grippers work brilliantly.Highly recommended, well thought out. Bit pricy but great quality and works very well. Grips well on helmet, even used on handlebars with some success and ability to rotate in useful. Doesn't slip at all on helmet and due to rubberised end, doesn’t leave any marks either. Needed a second GoPro connector block to be able to tip the camera back as far as needed, but that’s probably down to my specific lid.

I bought this knowing that it probably wasn't the best mount for my helmet, with my neotec 2 its not perfect having said that it still does what it meant to.A couple of issues it crushes the chin guard so at speed it lets air in . Also, it will slip a little when down and if you bend your head down to look at the ground it catches on the top of my chest, but when it's on my full-face helmet it's an absolute godsend doesn't restrict the putting on and removal of the helmet and its a brilliant bit of kit and would buy it again its expensive for what it is but works very well with the correct helment and is well built

Great product to fit Go Pro camera to motorcycle helmet. Easy to use and remove with no fuss. Strong grip that does not work loose while riding.

The angles are greatVery stiff doesn’t move or fall from the helmet,Not sure about resistance as I have not crashed.Overall good product but I find it a little expensive.

Great for mounting my DKI Osmo Action Pro 5 on my helmet. Good for clamping elsewhere if stuck too.

Its a nice idea but sadly more style over content. It dosnt hold up. Clamping force is, ok, but the ergonomics of the internal clamp where it wants to adhere to the inside of the lid, is not thought out well enough. The mount slide and tilts way too easily. Returing for a refund. Wasted time. Wanted to like it. Great branding. Hope they rethink this for an updated version as the idea is novel and the desgin breif has merit. Too much to risk £400 + go pro + filters + media mod, as well as the footage.

These are a must have for all those extreme cyclists motorcyclists with a go pro but don’t want to stick stuff to helmets or bike.

Absolutely awesome! This thing just keeps going even after the abuse it’s been through over the last year I’ve owned it awesome build quality and material! Super versatile, clamp it to your helmet, a pole, or even a tree branch to get that drive by shot! Can get all sorts of angles with how adjustable it is!It’s light enough I hardly know it’s there by itself, with a older go pro that’s heavier than a new one I can sorta tell it’s there but after a mile or so you get used to it.

The mount works really well and doesn’t budge. It’s not in the way on the helmet either. The way you can just move it from helmet to helmet is very practical. I’m looking forward to seeing in how many different situations I am able to use it. I’d like to see how it performs as a handlebar mount too. Would I buy it again? Yes definitely. Is it overpriced? Yes I think so. I’d like to see it at the $60 to $70 AUD mark.
