The title of David Whyte's fifth volume of poetry is an apt description of its contents. Everything, he points out, is indeed waiting for us, including our own demise and the demise of those we love. Exceptionally beautiful. Especially recommended if you are dealing with grief/death.
I love the cover. Exquisite writing with strong evocative imagery. Some of the most beautiful yet approachable poems I have ever read. Strongly recommend. Timing of this book was amazing. A mother's death...he captures so completely what people feel and instantly recognize. Available to all readers. If you know someone dragging their feet to open a book of poetry - any David Whyte may change their minds. A truly life-changing writer.

Philosophy and poetry in a nutshell
I was first exposed to Everything Is Waiting For You, the poem itself, as recited by David Whyte himself and it transformed my outlook on life. I am slowly reading through this work and liking it.

A Nice Book
The artwork on the front cover is beautiful. I like David Whytes work especially the Poem Everything is waiting for You. It’s a thin book only 102 pages with many poems of his that I haven’t read yet.
