I placed this floating globe next to my piano, and it draws attention while I am playing without being distracting. The levitation works well, and the LED lighting is subtle. Nice decorative piece.

A very pretty desk decoration; the Earth globe actually floats. I also loved how its little lights turn on; it's super relaxing to watch.

Item was a Xmas present for my son, was exactly as described. Pretty cool little gadget, I only wish that Ida known you could have upgraded the globe with internal lighting and I guess you can also get it motorized as well if I'm not mistaken, but not really a big deal. Thanks guys!

I wanted this globe because I like that it floated. I am very disappointed in this product. It is not a good value for the money. Yes it is like half the price of other floating globes but it doesn’t float. It’s stuck 95% of the time which defeats the whole purpose. The size. It is tiny. It was definitely meant to just to a small decoration on a desk. It doesn’t really look good on a shelf because it is so small and it doesn’t spin or float. It’s very light weight, the colors are cool, not too bright or too dim. The globe itself is beautifully made. Overall I just feel like it’s a waste of money. It doesn’t float and it’s kind of a pain to get it to float. I would honestly just spend the money on the one that’s more expensive. I would not recommend this product.

This little gadget works just as advertised. It comes with a little plastic handle with a spacer on it for getting the globe in just the right position. I measured the wattage with a Kill-a-Watt meter and it was flipping between 2.7 and 2.8 watts, more often on 2.8, so I'd interpolate it to about 2.77 watts. At my electricity cost that's just over 2 cents a day, so I just leave it on all the time. If you like science-based toys like lava lamps, fiber lamps, color organs and the like, you'd probably like this.
