IPS is a different type of standard, covering the outer diameter of pipes, not the threading. US pipe thread is normally FIP or MIP (female iron pipe or male iron pipe), which is tapered threading. **Q: What rubber washer is recommended to use for the G side?** A: You will need the stainless washers with the bonded rubber insert. I found them on a site that sells high pressure hydraulic fittings for race cars (Pegasus Racing).
