This does the job perfectly fine. Leaves no streaks. You have to follow the process. Make sure to not leave any and it’s spot on. Water just glides as if it were oleo phobic.

Easy to use and works like a charm! I read some folks had trouble with the fog it left, a tiny spritz of water before polishing and it was super easy to remove. Love this, will continue to buy and use on all my cars.

I've been using Rain X for decades and as far as I'm concerned this original version in the flip top little yellow bottle is way better than the spray bottle version. I live in north central Florida where it rains nearly every day. With properly applied Rain X I rarely need to use my truck's wipers. As long as I can maintain 40 mph the rain just slides off and my vision through the windshield is extremely clear. . My dislike of the spray bottle is because my windshield is almost always super hot and the spray evaporates before I get the chance to spread it evenly across my windshield. To make matters worse the product evaporates directly from the spray bottle. The original liquid in the flip top bottle never evaporates during storage. . Proper application is the key to get my best and long lasting results. First I carefully wash the glass surface to be treated with regular glass cleaner. My second step is using a detailer's clay bar to remove embedded contaminates. After "claying" I do another quick cleaning with a clean paper towel. To apply I tear off about 1/4 of a paper towel and fold it into an approximate 3 inch square. I place this on the glass and apply just enough product to saturate it. Using circular strokes I rub it in and apply additional Rain X in small amounts as needed. I allow a full three minutes for it to completely dry. Wiping the surface gently with a very damp microfiber towel removes all of the haze. I Always recommend Rain-X in the flip top bottle.

This product is amazing if it’s applied properly on your windshield you hardly need a windshield wiper needs to be reapplied after so long, but it works great highly recommend

Does it leave streaks on your windshield? •No permanent streaks, turns opaque ONLY when drying, and don't forget once it's dry to WIPE YOUR WINDSHIELD, this does not remove the product, only the residue. •(Note if you do not clean your windshield with water or windex before using this product, you will see some opaque effect that doesn't come off. This is an easy easy fix though, just clean it!) I did everything right, and there's still streaks?! 1) You didn't clean your windshield. 2) You forgot to wipe it off after it dries. 3) It was ridiculously cold out and you didn't heat up your car before starting. It's not repelling water, oh no! •You didn't put enough, you can tell by how much opaque appears on your windshield. Seeing the streaks/film after applying means you did it correctly. If you don't see much of anything, wipe off what streaks you see, and apply more generously. The water will "group up" when done correctly, and more will slide down than before. •Note this product does not make water jump off of your windshield, just changes the properties of the glass by making it HARDER for water to stick, not impossible. Window wipers are still necessary, these just make them less needed and improves overall visibility in rain. All in all, this product does work, and is not some scam and when applied properly does exactly what it's advertised to do. I don't know how to emphasize that 99% of the bad reviews here are people misusing the product. This stuff works and is completely clear. Car washes are buying rain-x and applying it to cars in the wash! It's legit, and much more concentrated in this bottle than in a car wash. I stand by this product 100%, it is actually amazing how much of a difference it makes.

When I first used this product, my family were wowed by its effectiveness. The rain drops just rolled over the Windshield and doesn't stick to it. Love love love Rain x. Planning to order again.

I loved this and used it routinely whilst in Malaysia and found that in Australia when it rains all the drivers strt panicking from low vision. Im really glad i found this on amazon and it works perfectly. Simple application and ive only had to use my windscreen wiper twice through a rainy day on my way home from work.
