I bought a pair of these Echogear speaker stands in anticipation of the arrival of my new Ultimea Skywave X40 system. Previously, I’ve used brackets screwed to the wall for the rear speakers of surround systems but using stands appealed as it allows for a greater choice of positions (and avoids my landlord getting upset when I drill holes in their precious wall!) These speaker stands have many positive reviews on Amazon and are described in the listing as being suitable for many types of small speaker. Indeed there are several choices of bracket which attach to the top pole of the stands to allow for various different fixing methods depending on the brand, type and orientation of the speakers you have. There are also different options for adding spikes or rubber cushions to the feet of the speaker stands depending on the type of floor you have; these serve primarily to prevent the stands unintentionally moving once you’ve place everything in the “perfect” position. As expected (or at least *hoped* for…) these stands were perfectly suited to the rear speakers of my Ultimea system. The stands come well packaged in a robust (and surprisingly attractive!) cardboard box with the various components held in a protective egg box style cardboard liner. The overall package is quite weighty as the feet of the speaker stands are individually quite heavy for obvious reasons. The instructions are excellent, clearly describing and illustrating the assembly process and detailing the contents of the overall package. As with the Amazon listing there is humour in the instructions which gives a nice friendly approach to the process. I found it remarkably quick and easy to follow the instructions and get my speakers safely attached to these suitably sturdy stands. As with many newer low-to-mid budget surround systems, the rear speakers of my system are wireless so I didn’t try to feed any speaker cables down the stands. My set up *does* have power leads for the rear speakers however and these were easily and relatively discreetly run down the outside of the poles using the ties provided. Being easily adjustable in height even after you’ve attached the speakers, I was able to get the speakers at the right height without difficulty (Ultimea say ear height when sitting down so I’m not arguing!). Also the tapering of the design of the feet of the stands meant that I was able to push them some way under the back of my sofa to get the best position for me. If my room was a bit larger I’d move my sofa away from the wall, more central to the room and get the recommended listening position perfected but until I move to a mansion or castle, this will have to do! So I’ve got the rear speakers a bit closer to the back of the sofa than audiophiles would prefer but these stands are sufficiently versatile to allow for my compromised setup! It was so quick to set up my new system using this product that my wife had no cause to complain about all of the time I was taking doing “boring things”. I consider that in itself a significant win! And we are both enjoying the benefits of good quality sound with the rear speakers neatly in their place. Overall, I consider these speaker stands to be excellent value for the quality, style and versatility they offer.

What an excellent piece of kit. Totally reasonably priced instead of the overpriced “specialist” AV gear prices you see for the same thing. These are sturdy well built and extendable stands with heavy floor plates. Nice that they supply either spikes if the stands are for carpet or small little rubber feet if on hard floors. All the 3 pieces fitted/screwed together snugly and brilliant that it gives you 3 choices of speaker base plate to use as well as just about every type of screw fitting, depending on your speaker type. And whether they have screw holes on the rear or bottom. If neither they even give you an adhesive plate so stick the speaker base on! A no brainer purchase. Mine were used to mount small Yamaha wireless speakers and they work very well indeed. Now get fantastic immersive rear surround effects with my Yamaha soundbar and I can easily move these stands around if needed.

I really liked the look of these as they were sturdy and reasonably priced (did wish they did them in white though). I came across a slight issue in that my speakers are Cambridge Audio Minx speakers and none of the fittings fit due to where the screw hole is and the two connectors. But I used the included sticky pads which have done the trick. I did find the connectors between the top and bottom a little less sturdy though and the top half turns very easily if you accidently brush past them. The cable management does leave something to be desired though as I have proper speaker wiring and not the cheap thin plastic stuff. It is near impossible to feed it through as it keeps getting stuck and it just looks untidy if you use the velcro wraps instead as the wiring is translucent. But I will work out a way around it. All these things said, I am still happy with my purchase as I wasn't willing at this stage to spend any more and they fit very well and streamlined into my modern decor.

So impressed with these stands. Great value for money and easy to assemble. Really well engineered and manufactured, all the attachments you could possibly need, even the box was amazing! No need to spend any more, buy this product!

After much research, I sent for these easy to assemble stands, which I have found to be aesthetically pleasing, sturdy as to not have any rattles from my sound bar rear speakers, and can adjust the height accordingly

Really impressed with these and value for money. I wasn't expecting ting much but was pleasantly surprised. The base is really sturdy and won't fall over in a hurry even with speakers mounted. The height is around 37.5 inch from floor level plus the height of your speaker on top of that when using the flat mount. They were the perfect height for my sofa. They can be adjusted with a plastic screw style fitting - top tip this is plastic so DO NOT over tighten and it will be fine The speaker wires can be routed inside of the stands to hide them but it will not take a power cable, but this can just be attached to the speaker pole with the velcro provided. They come with a variety of fittings and screws and mine fitted some LG rear surround speaker without issue. I chose to mount them with the bottom.plate but could have used the L bracket too. I would not hesitate to purchase again or reccomend.

Easy to assemble, sturdy, good quality item. particularly like the fact the speaker cables are hidden within the stands. easyto adjust height, just a twist of the handle and done

Not a bad speaker stand. Very easy to set up. My only issue is that unless you are using a thin speaker wire then a heavier gauge wire will just not fit down the holes in the stand. This rendered the stands useless to me. Note to manufacturer; you need to specify in your listings that not all speaker wire will fit.

Very very nice, way sturdier than I was expecting(kinda heavy tbh). I've used EchoGear TV mounts before and loved them, so I saw the price for these and was interested right away. EXTREMELY easy to setup(Vizio 5.1, so sort of horizontal placement), took all of 5 minutes for each one, very obvious instructions as well which is nice. One caveat is the whole for the speaker wire. If you have a traditional surround setup with your own receiver, or one without plugs and it's just the speaker wires themselves, it will fit and the cables will be super tidy. Unfortunately if you have a soundbar surround setup like my Vizio 5.1, the wires have plugs and the plugs won't fit. Won't take a star off as I didn't even realize it was a feature. Overall awesome, less money than the wall mounts I replaced these with and they look great!
