Great feel and sound, D'Addario never let's me down. I've used nothing but D'Addario guitar and bass strings since I started playing over 25 years ago and their products are just plain better than an others I've tried. Can't go wrong here. I highly recommend D'Addario!

I have been using D'Addario XL strings for at leastc25 years and gave always been happy with their quality and tone!

Got the 65-120 set to detune my 4-string to BEAD without massive truss-rod adjustments. Works well. Enough tension to hold tune and not fret-out with hard plucking. DiMarzio has been doing strings for a minute, so they always have a consistent tone.

So I bought these strings because of a helpful post on /r/bass saying they were only >$6. I wasn't sure what to expect with very few reviews out there. My bass is a frankenbass with: Squire Affinity P-Body DiMarzio DP122 Pickups Guitar Fetish Maple P-neck Gotoh Standard Bass Bridge from Stew Mac 0.1uF Polyester Capacitor and stock 250k pots for tone and volume The tone I was going for is inspired by Steve Harris(Iron Maiden) and Bryan Beller(Dethklok) and tuned to C standard (CDA#F#) So here's what I've experienced so far: My initial plan was to slap on some thick chrome flats for the harris warm sound and beller's brightness. With these I lack the warmness I'd get with flats; but thanks to the capacitor enough treble bleeds off. Even though they're bright right now, I roll the tone all the way down and it is still boomy. They're very thick and, tuned to C Standard, have a decent amount of tension. It's only day two with these, I'm expecting them to warm in tone when I fully break them in, but so far I'm very happy with this. Worth a try for the current $12 price at the time of this review.

These are the best sounding bass strings I've ever had! They really do have a MUCH brighter sound than other strings. It really transforms the bass from a muddy mellow sound into a bright, full sound. Definitely the best bang-for-buck I can imagine for improving your bass sound (unless you want a nice soft mellow sound for your music). I had one hiccup with the order in that one of the strings had a very mellow sound, so they may have accidentally shipped me one of the flat wound strings. D'Addario customer service was extremely responsive and sent me new strings right away with express shipping - I couldn't be happier with their customer service!

Got this on my Warwick for a CGCF tuning. You'd probably need to file the nut and the bridge to make the 120 sits nicely. Galloping on the C strings is awesome, no longer feels like playing on strings made out of wet noodles. Its sounds a tad bright but that's exactly what i want.

D standard veya drop C için ayarladığım bas gitarım için aldım. 45-105lik bir setten geçtiğim için truss rod ayarı dahil her şeyi elden geçirmem gerekti. Ama sonuç olarak tam istediğim gibi oldu, artık E teli olması gerektiği gibi gergin. C'ye çekince spagetti gibi olmuyor. E standart tuning için tavsiye etmem, aşırı gergin olacaktır.
