I bought more than 1 just in case I needed them, but have found they work great. The straining material is very tough - I have accidentally scraped the material in working with it and there is no indication of that happening. I have been using the strainers for a while. I waited to do this review because you can't always judge the product by it's first look! Great buy, really like this product.
