How bold is this tip compared to the Medium?** A: I don't think you would want to use the broad nib for calligraphy. You want a pen with a stub or italic nib and I would recommend at least 1.9mm. TWSBI has a 1.1mm stub, which is ok for calligraphy. I would consider Pilot Parallel or Kaweco's calligraphy set, as you can try several nib sizes without breaking the bank, or a Speedball dip pen with a variety of nibs which can be bought cheaply. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pen!
