Great replacement remote
Great replacement remote. Worked well for my 1998 GMC Yukon. Like others posted, the horn button does not work, but that's expected as the original does not have this button. My previous remote kept falling apart. Used some quick fixes (i.e. aluminum foil on the inside of the buttons) but that only worked temporarily and it was still inconsistent. Finally made the decision to get a new remote and wish I had a while ago! Much greater distance and no more pushing the buttons multiple times to get the key fob to work. I used the programming method of jumping terminals 8 and 4 in the Data Link Port and it worked like a charm. Less than 2 minutes to program and all you need is a paperclip.

This Item worked fine initially, but no longer works
This Item worked fine initially, but no longer works. When I program it, it seems to accept the program with an audible lock or unlock sound, but will not unlock/lock the doors in general use. A second keyless remote does the same thing

Very happy
Product came on time and was as described. Programming was easy for my 97 GMC 'burb. Took me longer to find a paper clip for a jumper than to program it. My only complaint is the panic button and the Rear 2X buttons don't appear to do anything on my vehicle. (if anyone has any info for hacking one of these buttons to use for remote start post a link in a comment. I'm sure others would love this as well if its possible) Programming Instructions: Step 1: Short/Jumper pins 4 & 8 on the OBDII port. Locks will cycle. Step 2: Press and hold down the Lock and Unlock buttons on your new remote until the locks cycle Step 3: Remove jumper and test remote If you're wondering how to tell if your GM vehicle (GMC, Chevy, Cadillac, Buick, etc.) has a keyless remote system, look for one these codes on the sticker that shows the codes for the features the vehicle came with. In all 3 of my GM trucks/suv's (88-97) it has been in the glove box. Sometimes I've heard it can be elsewhere such as a door or door pillar. Feature codes to look for: 5L1, A97, AE5, AE6, AP3, AP5, AP7, AU0, AU5, AU8, AX3, or K92 or one of these 2 combinations: M82 and ATG, or ATG and BTV I found this info here: http://blog.remotesandkeys.com/blog-0/bid/65395/How-to-check-if-your-GM-car-is-equipped-with-factory-keyless-entry

Good products good price.
Good purchase. Product was factory new in factory package as described. This seller is worthy of future orders from me and would recommend other customers to purchase from this seller as you get a good product that is described accurately. I ordered two of them for my tahoe and as a bonus I only paid shipping price for one. Both remotes linked up to my tahoe with no problem and link up was done in under a minute. They work great and work from a further distance than my other remote. Will order more pruducts from this seller in future.

perfect replacement on a 1998 GMC suburb.
Works great for the vehicle I have. Although I only gave it 4 stars because the directions for putting your vehicle into "learn mode" was way to confusing and did not work for me. I had to look up and recall a youtube video that short circuits a path between your OBD port with a paper clip *(port 4 and port 8)* and accomplishes the same task... WAYYYY easier and it is the system I have seen certified GM mechanics use. The instructions tell you to key off this key on hold a button and switch the key on/off three quick times...= GOOFY! Watch the youtube vid on jumping port 4 and 8 or print it off its findable on the web. The horn/locator/panic button doesn't work or my car isn't compatible with it or never had a factory alarm setup no biggie. I just wanted to replace the key fob so I had extra set of keys and such. Has greater distance than my original although I'm writing that off to fresher batteries in the new unit. Fit and finish is OEM.

Auto Keyless Remote - called FOB, for various GM vehicles
Works great, easy to Program, Instructions available for your specific vehicle on line, Google Auto FOB remotes to find which FOB (Keyless Remote) fits your vehicle and most of the sites also have the install instructions. Check the sites information on what the FOB you are looking at fits- the vehicle model & years. If you have the old FOB it should have a number on the back side, if so just google the same number, if it's hard to find do a cross reference check on the number.

Didn't last long
The remote for my 97 Chevy Tahoe stopped transmitting so I needed a replacement. I bought this and so far so good. It arrived on time and was easy to program. My original remote didn't have the "horn" button, so I wasn't expecting that to work and it doesn't. The other three buttons work just like the original. Update: After about 2 months I noticed the case had broken along the edge where the top and bottom meet. The plastic is cheap and brittle vs. the OEM. The problem is moisture gets inside and shortens the life. I had contacted WWR about this by e-mail and heard nothing back.

Perfect replacement!
This remote replaced the one my wife used until it broke! It was easy to program (there was a link to a site with free instructions) and works wonders. My car doesn't have an alarm so that button doesn't do anything but the rest work very well. This would have cost me 4-5 times as much had I purchased this at my local Auto-Parts store.
