Review: Exactly what I Needed - We live in a lake and recently had a ton of derbis wash up under our dock. I ordered this hook because it had more dull tip rather than the standard pointed/sharp ends. It worked perfectly for standing on the dock, easily hooking up to downed tree limbs and debris and move it to a better place to dispose of it all. Hook was perfect! Liked it so much, I bought a second for my neighbor and now we’re happy campers! Worth the money, exactly as expected (maybe even better!) and will last us a long time and a lot of debris pulling! Definitely recommend. It’s a great size (sits on the palm of an adult hand well) and due to the ends noting being sharp, I can quickly latch on and unhook from whatever I need to.

A: Hello!  The weight of the gaff hook is 7.3 ounces

**Q: What is the diameter of the eyelet ?**
A: the eyelet diameter is about 2.2cm

**Q: How much weight can it hold safely?**
A: Not too much because it is only 1/4 steel.I was pulling brush off a steep embankment with an electric winch.It worked pretty well for the light weight stuff.

**Q: What's the diameter of the hooks?**
A: I don't recall the hook diameter but I will tell you that the hook spread under the weight of my "Ninja" grandson (approx. 48lbs) as he was dropped to the ground from about 6 ft up the tree!  Not very strong, definitely not hardened steel.

Im using this grappling hook to pull pond weeds to the edge of pond. Works well. If it had 4 hooks instead of three it would weigh a bit more and would grab more weeds each time i use it. Overall works vey well.
