6 Pack - TDLTEK Neon Glowing Strobing Electroluminescent Wire/El Wire(Blue, Green, Red, Pink, Purple, White) + 3 Modes Battery Controllers

These are exactly as advertised. All 6 work perfect. Had trouble with the white one but it only required straightening one of the pins in the connection for the control box. Apparently it was bent during manufacture. Works perfect now. I ordered a second set as I need 10 total. By far the best deal I found. I did notice the hum but only when I put the controller next to my ear. My kids could hear it from across the room though. So I would say age and use could be a factor for the sound. As others have stated this noise is true for any manufactures EL wire controller, unless you're willing to spend much more money ($100 for ten 3 foot pieces of EL and two controllers) for a novelty such as this. For my use (drone obstacles) these work very well and cost much less. Each obstacle has it's own power supply making them completely portable. They are bright but not so bright that they are blinding while flying in FPV like the led's I tried. Well worth the money in my opinion.

All 6 worked fine right out of the zip-lock packaging. As others have posted, they make a slight high-pitched whine, but it is very minimal and only noticeable up-close in a quiet room. Any amount of ambient noise will easily cover the whine. They come with a pretty standard controller which holds 2 AA batteries (not included) and has a connector to the wire itself, so you could swap out a controller if one goes bad. Color is bright and steady. Controller has 3 modes, steady on, slow blink and fast blink. This product is a miracle of modern production methods and logistics. I honestly have no idea how they're making money off these at this price point. As I just received them, I have no idea how long they'll last. I'll try to remember to update this review if they prove to be unreliable.

This package is a great value for the price, however there were a couple of things that made me give this 4 stars instead of 5. I had bought these to make my own neon sign and when combined with some clear tape and wire, I did achieve my purpose. The pros: Nice bright colors, very flexible to shape, with some velcro and/or command strips, the battery pack can easily hold up onto anything. The cons: battery life does not last long, brightness dims as batteries wear down. The reason I think this product is good and not great is because of how long the battery lasts to get that bright neon colors to pop. I do like this product though, and I would purchase again if I had another craft in mind.

Exactly what I was looking for. The colors are great and the small battery pack is easy to place where needed and includes a clip to attach to belt or clothing. Can also be zip tied if needed. The variable modes for steady or flash are a good addition. Very happy with my purchase.

Id give 5 stars if they had all worked, but one came D.O.A. they were pretty bright and lasted longer than i needed them to.They do however make a annoying squealing sound too.

We were the talk of the campground with these lights on our bikes at night. Each child had a different color so it was really to identify which child was where. The battery packs were a bit wonky with the power light not always working but the lights themselves always worked. I would TOTALLY buy these again. They are so great!

Used this to create a stick figure costumes for us this Halloween... item arrived as described... easily secured with packaging tape to black hoodies and leggings/pants... slight buzzing from the battery pack as mentioned however buzzing is not even noticable with all the excitement going door to door.. will use this next year again.. (batteries not included)

The lights emit a high pitched buzz/sound the whole time they are on. If in a quiet environment it's quite annoying. Since my original review all the lights have stopped working to various degrees. A couple have completely stopped working, others have dimmed to a point where you can barely tell they are on, and the rest have a bunch of dead spots that don't light up.
