The NT Cutter wasn't much more expensive, but it sure as heck was a lot nicer. Since getting it a few months ago, it's been through some brutal box and packing tape cutting, including really hard multi-ply corrugated cardboard boxes that held appliances and heavy furniture -- and even the dense sort of boards that protect furniture corners (for which I probably shouldn't use a box cutter). For the vast majority of boxes, it slices through like butter, never catching or tearing except on the gnarliest packaging. The edge has certainly started to visibly wear by now, but its performance for my purposes is largely unchanged (especially now that I've gotten through the move in large part). The size is perfect for my small hands, and I really like the clicky extension/retraction -- much smoother than my old box cutter.
