I bought this XTEND drink powder to use as a pre-workout mix primarily because it has NO CAFFEINE (no jitters) and because I needed something to help my muscles recover faster and also because of the Electrolytes. The first time I used it during my exercise routine and halfway through I started to run out of gas! I had to continue drinking cold water to cool me down. The second workout I actually drank this mix 30min. before my workout and I tell you what... it worked wonders! Half way through my workout I felt like a caught a second wind and was able to finish my workout strongly. I love Mango so I love the taste. I make my mix with about 12oz of water and its a tiny bit on the sweet side and I did notice there was a tiny bit of powder floating at the bottom of the mixing bottle, but if you want yours not so sweet feel free to add a little bit more water. Highly recommend!

I purchased this because I had heard that it was good. Let me explain my reaction to it as a story line. First time I tried this I was thrown back by the sweetness. It was a little too sweet for me and almost to the point that I could not stand the taste of it. Later I cut back a little on the amount I was putting in my sports bottle and that helped me solve that problem. After use of this product I slowly became accustomed to the taste. I have noticed a big performance gain using this product during my workout. Maybe it is all mental, but I do 4 sets per exercise 5-8 reps to failure, and 4 exercises per body part. I grind out a work out, and you can imagine that there are moments when I am getting tired. This drink helps me to keep my energy levels up so that I can really pound out the work out to the point of exhaustion. My recovery time is improved, but I cannot say if this is as a result of this product, or the other products I take. In my past, when I did not use this product, I still had a quick recovery time. With my body the way it is I typically recover very fast. I am now to the point where I have to have this stuff during my workout. It is a real life saver and has allowed me to push myself farther than I could. I would highly recommend it. The Mango Nectar is really good, took me some time to get used to but is very good. Right now I am trying the watermelon.

I really enjoy drinking the Mango Madness flavor a lot. I feel like my muscles can notice that this BCAA powder definitely helps my recovery. I personally utilize this powder for a drink during my workouts in the gym. When I feel out of breath, I just have a sip or 2 from my water bottle with my BCAA powder in it and then almost instantly I do start to feel better. I appreciate how there are electrolytes in this BCAA powder also. I like that there is ZERO sugar in this powder. Something interesting is that the actual powder is a reddish pink color. But when you add water to it, the powder turns into a bright yellow color. So be careful that you don’t spill your drink onto yourself. I am a very satisfied customer. So I will gladly give this BCAA powder a 5 star review.

The flavor I like (tropic thunder) is out of stock so I'm trying different flavors to see what I can use. This flavor was just ok. The product was great as always. All of the Xtend BCAA's are a great value and easy to use. I just don't think I'll order this one again as the flavor wasn't right for me. But with the 30 serving sizes it's easy to try out and see fi it's right for you.

Ordered the Blue Raspberry flavor and it tastes like cotton candy. I really only use about a third to a half scoop in my water to give it a little flavor and make getting in an additional bottle of water per day easy. This mixes easily in water, I don’t notice any change in texture with the water. This is a great price for a product that we enjoy!

I wish I read the ingredients first. I don't understand the need for added food colors to this product. This has a decent taste and I assume the BCAAs are working, but I'm frustrated that these additives make it something I don't feel good about putting in my body...I will probably use it sparingly when wanting something more than just water.
