Bright, even, illumination, with customisable temperature and great build quality
This is fantastic. It's at a price point where it's worth taking a gamble as someone who's relatively new to getting into video and streaming. In particular, with the mounting options I thought this would be great for assisting in recording time lapse videos for me. The ability to set a colour temperature is perfect because I like a nice strong-but-even daylight colour and the variability gives me the control to balance against the various ambient lighting I have in different locations, and perfectly tune the lighting based on the time of day I'm doing the recording. I'm usually very fussy with colour temperature and this flexibility was very welcome. I've been using this with an articulated arm that I also bought from amazon. The light itself comes with a connector based around the standard 1/4" threaded screw that you'll find on most DSLR level camera equipment. The supplied fixing is also actually compatible with the go-pro style interlocking-fingers style connector too, whilst also including a standard hot-shoe mount, so it's very versatile. With the colour is really easily to balance in post with the high CRI of the lamps, and I feel like there might even be some fresnel layers in the lamp assembly because of how well blended the illumination is. You might wonder why I've included a photo of a load of sink pipework on my reviews - let me explain - although this light kit is clearly intended for photo/media use I also realised that the qualities that make it a great piece of photography kit make it amazing for DIY! The punchy, evenly dispersed flood fill of light, combined with the built in battery, and the fantastic colour rendering index meant that when I had to fix a leak under our kitchen sink (ended up replacing the tap) it was the simply the best thing I've ever tried for lighting the tight space under the sink. Even though I had my head between the light source and the taps the light was still very even and was plenty bright enough to see perfectly. Normally I'd have used a torch here, but flashlights are so directional you end up with shadows from all the pipes but this was so good at flooding the whole space the shadows were drastically reduced which made it so much easier to see what was going on. The photo speaks a thousand words. Even though it's not intended for DIY it's simply fantastic, and the battery lasted plenty long enough for the whole old tap decommission, removal and installation of the new taps. Next time you're in a tight space give it a try, I was pleasantly surprised!

Excellent buy!
I’ve recently purchased the Raleno soft box which was great for studio/fixed location use, but I needed a really portable video light to use on the many occasions where light isn’t sufficient. I’ve decided to give the Raleno PLV-S192 a go, and here’s what I found. The packaging is simple and effective, protecting the light quite well along with the hot shoe mount and charger/power cord. It also brings a little manual which can be handy. With the Raleno PLV-S192, they have certainly listened to users of this type of light and created a very compelling proposition. The light is very bright - without any significant colour tinge at 4200K, going from 3200K to 5600K. The brightness can be adjusted “stepless”, so I can choose exactly the brightness required. The size of the unit is fairly good, big as to provide enough light but still small so it fulfils its mission - being portable. Having 2 li-ion build in batteries is, for me, is a great plus. I really want to limit the amount of stuff I need to carry. The batteries will last around 3 hours on full brightness, which is great! It has a quite large (2 inches) screen at the back allowing you see quickly the brightness, colour temperature and a battery level indicator. On the side, there are the 2 knobs (to adjust temp and brightness) and on/off switch. The light itself is soft and flattering - you’ll not see the individual LEDs (as the name states, 192 of them!) on any brightness level and while soft, it will easily provide a good amount of light up to 20-30 feet away. Adjusting the colour temperature to the warmer settings allows me to use it for indoor filming in circunstances where I want to keep the warmth of tungsten/candle light in the scene. The unit itself is solidly built. It really doesn’t feel like anything will fall or break apart and having the hot shoe adaptor and power cord for continuous use ticks all my boxes. While I use for general purpose and it works great, I can see this would be absolutely perfect for product shots/videos - that’s all you’d need. Also, personally I prefer continuous light for photography as well, personally I feel it gives more control, so I’m also using this for photography both with and without the support of larger Raleno soft box. All in all, this is a great product at a very reasonable price and Im really happy with with it. thoroughly recommended!

Good value for video lighting with good colour range.
This is perfect for video Good colour range, and bright enough for lighting outdoors. Battery life is good too. Charge lasted for hours plus on a shoot. Well made, plastic of course, light and can be used with clamps

Great Light (With a Longevity Caveat)
It's a great light (with a longevity caveat) The good: It's a great, nice sized light with even lighting for the price! The not so good: It lasted me just beyond a year before it started flickering intermittently. A few months back I noticed it started flickering on and off while filming my videos, making it unusable for my videos. I thought I was still in warranty but noticed I was 2 months over a year when I first noticed this. Bearing in mind I had used it quite sparingly. Like once or twice a month on average to record videos. Overall a really good quality light, just dissapointed with the longevity. I'll still give it 4 stars for the price and value. Just wish it lasted a bit longer.

Excellent for a close distance work - very even illumination
I got two of these lights for my copy stand. The evenness of illumination is excellent, but they are not as bright as I was expecting them to be. They are excellent for a short-distance work, like a copy stand, table-top photography, product photography, portrait, small studio, small room. Probably not strong enough for a larger set. For my purpose (copy stand) they are ideal. You get peak illumination (max output) at 4300K when both sets of LEDs are in use (at 100%). The ends of the colour range (3200K and 5600K) are not as bright, as only half of the LED are i use. For my copy stand I use them with a polarising foil, which 'steals' about half of the light, but the 5600K still gives me a lot of light for the purpose. Very well made, very light, and a 2x4000 mAh battery is a bonus, so I very much recommend them.

Amazingly bright budget light!
I'm not going to waste time writing anything about how this light works, or taking photos of it, since other reviewers have done a good job of that and there are plenty of photos to see the size and how the display looks etc. The main thing that needs to be said is that this light is ridiculously bright - it can light an entire room really well, and I've used it on quite a few video shoots where the lights in the room weren't quite bright enough. It's like adding an extra bulb to a room, or opening the blinds. It's great. It goes from 1% to 100% brightness, but at 1% it's already pretty bright. That can be a little annoying sometimes since it doesn't feel much different at 1% to 20%, but I rarely need anything below its lowest setting. I don't know exactly how accurate the cool and warm tones are, but it seems decent, although it's markedly less bright when going to either extreme, and is brightest at 4200K, which is a little on the cold side. I've tested the battery time, and on 4200K (the brightest setting) on 100% power it lasts just under 90 minutes, which is impressive to say the least! I haven't tested it on the lower settings but I imagine it lasts for hours on 50% or below. You can also power it from the included DC adapter - but it has to be said that it's not a normal 5.5mm x 2.1mm jack like you get with most DC appliances these days, it's actually a 5.5mm x 3mm jack, which is really hard to buy an extension cable for, so you need to keep it close to a plug socket if you want to use it that way, or buy a socket extension. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nicer to use a standard adapter. The battery inside charges via the DC input and takes just under 2 hours to fully charge from 0%, which is pretty decent, and means you can potentially buy two and charge one while using the other, for a near constant availability of light source. It would have been nice to have a battery port on the back, but as a budget light goes it's really good. It's also very light, weighing in at just over 600g, which is only slightly more than two of the Sony NP-F970 batteries that are used to power a lot of other lights. Overall it's a really good quality budget light, and I've been really impressed by it! 👇🏻 If you find this review helpful, please click the helpful button below!

Great light, Absolutely as I'd hoped for!
This was exactly what I'd hoped for! This completely fulfils what I need it to and more. The light is just the right size for video/photo to fill a room sized environment with diffused light. It's also the right size for portability and weight. Mileage may vary however the battery lasted as long as I needed and even if you run out of charge you can charge it while it's powered on. The battery lasts long enough for a bunch of outdoor shots on about 10% brightness in my case so keep that in mind. I may have used it for about 1-2 hours and the battery still had some charge. The light heats up but it's not at all a problem as the light is designed to dissipate heat efficiently. It's also great that it comes with a cold shoe mount as that's my preferred way to mount it for use. Bare in mind the light isn't blindingly bright, but it will be sufficient for most average consumer use cases. In my picture the light doesn't seem very bright however this is because of the exposure adjustment on the camera. Thanks Raleno!

Pantalla perfecta

LED video lights with excellent price-quality ratio
I have so far purchased three S192 and one S104 and I'm very pleased with their quality of light, power, reliability and battery capacity. Most video LED lights have slots for NP-batteries, yet are typically shipped without batteries. Not so for S192, which has 2 x 4000mAh internal batteries and ships with a power supply. S192 has a led display indicating the colour temperature, relative output power and remaining battery percentage. I find the portability of these lights very good, they are not heavy and they don't take much space in your bag. I'll be using two of these units as a key and filler, and a third one for hair light for shooting interviews. The smaller S104 is suitable as an on-camera light. Until now I have been lighting up green screen backgrounds with softboxes equipped with fluorescent bulbs, but will consider using multiple S192 led panels in the future. For multiple light setups, having a remote controller would be an asset. I'd love to see RaLeno coming with a new, maybe even larger led panel models with a remote controller, or a possibility to use a smartphone for controlling the lights, while maintaining well established design and quality aspects from S192.
