LOVE this coffee!
I discovered this last year at Whole Foods when I bought my home espresso machine and was looking for new coffee beans. This is one of the most versatile bean I’ve found as it tasted delicious with an aeropress, with my espresso machine (bambino plus) and when blended with dark roasts. It smells like poop when you open the bag but it tastes terrific and even my coffee snob boyfriend likes this.

I’ve tried just about every one of Allegro’s coffees and this one is my favorite so far. I’m not great at describing flavors so I’ll just say this one tasted perfectly balanced. Not to acidic, not too bold, not too fruity, not too tangy, just perfect.

Very old beans
Ordered a bag a month ago and it tasted fresh with great aroma. I considered it among my favorites. Then I ordered another one, but this one is 8 months old (4 months before its expiration date). There is no aroma and it tastes dull. Very disappointed!

Not good
I did not enjoy this. I made cold brew with it and I could not finish the pitcher so it went to waste. Something about the after taste just didnt cut it. I think it is the tobacco listed on it.
